Informative, heartfelt and easy to read!
I absolutely LOVE this book!!!!I recently ordered this as my girlfriend and I are expecting, and this boom is just phenomenal, to say the least. Goes month to month and even week by week! Easy to read bullet points, paragraphs and easy to follow steps in regards to being prepared for the little one. Tips and tricks to help your partner, nutrition, and so much more.I highly recommend this book.

Love it love it love it
I gave this to my husband around my second trimester of pregnancy, he read it all and every month he understood what i was going through, he even knew what to expect and told me to. We connected so well during my pregnancy thanks to this book I can tell.

My husband enjoyed it..
My husband is overseas and we are expecting our first. I sent this book to him and he read it pretty quickly. He said it was very informative and gave him a lot of insight into what I might be going through physically and emotionally during the pregnancy. He said he would recommend; good book.

Disappointing read
- Book is written from an American point of view- The author tends to give certain “medical advice” at times which might be inappropriate for many- Sometimes I find the author to be a bit negative- Shameless self marketing of other books written by the author- By the time I finished reading this, I found better resources

Good, but very localised
This is undoubtedly a good book for an expecting father… it’s written in simple language, and most of the sections about “what’s going on with her” had my nodding and smiling. That said, some sections are VERY American focused. Eg a whole section around challenges of time off / paternal leave that’s totally irrelevant in Europe/Asia (skip it); or a section on male genital mutilation that made me have to google if it’s still common in the USA (apparently it is). Similarly skipped sections on health insurance and medical leave, and kinda ignored the weird imperial British measurements (how many inches a foetus is for example was fun to convert the first 2-3 times, but got old fast). One thing missing, in the classes section, are links to online classes. Sadly, some I couldn’t find online (which when the nearest class is a few hundred/thousand kilometres away isn’t helpful). That said - these are minor issues. If you pick and choose what’s useful to your region, ignore the antiquated health/legal system it’s designed for, it’s a great resource.

Way too American
Bollocks. I had to skip through pages about way too many pages to get some useful information among all the stories about American healthcare, GI fathers, marines, American product prices and other stuff related only to the states. Like mate, there are more countries in the world

Informative
I liked the book and it was good to read along each month as my wife's pregnancy matured. It gave a lot of helpful tips on what to expect, and it also informed me on a lot of things I didn't know. It helped my wife too, having a more understanding husband who was better informed. That being said, I'm not American, I have never been to the US. I had to skip a lot of pages about health care providers, insurance, and American centric information. It's not a negative reflection on the book, rather that maybe other readers in the rest of the world might find parts of this book skippable. Or search out a book more appropriate for your own country.
