Somehow I misplaced my smaller pickup tool and needed one to find a lost bolt hiding in my Harley. The 2 day delivery saved me. Only issue is that the heads on these are very large and I will need to find one with a much smaller diameter to get into more narrow nooks and crannies. Even though with magnet will be smaller I don't need a magnet that lifts 15 pounds to find hiding nuts and bolts,

These extendable magnetic wands are for mechanical and industrial work, not fine work like electronic fasteners.Besides retrieving tools I've dropped in the engine compartment that have lodged into the frame, I use it to pick up metal parts, nails, etc. that have fallen on the work floor. It really saves my lower back! These have the strongest magnetic field I have found in extendable wands.

You can only pick up stuff straight UP are it will bind in half.

Nice for picking up dropped screws, nuts, bolts, small metal objects etc. Thats about it though. It says 15lb pull but has trouble picking up a hand tool like a screwdriver. Was hoping the magnet was a little stronger.Pros: nice reach. Great for small metal objects that are hard to reach.Cons: was expecting a stronger magnet. Metal extension is kinda flimsy, if magnet was stronger it would probably break the extension with a 15lb item on the end it at a certain angle close to horizontal.

Magnets are stronger than I thought they'd be. Also a little wider than I imagined, and won't actually fit where I need them to. Can't fault them for that. Great little magnets.

These are great for picking up small parts that I drop on floor. Good hold. Telescopes nicely.

Pretty disappointed in the strength of the magnets. My Harbor Freight cheapies are stronger. The grips are nicer so there’s that.

These are nice and they extend longer than some of the others I have seen.
