Nope,,,,,,,they say put batteries in it and it works just like that. NOT! Didn't work at all for me. I tried it for a while..........for a few times,,,,then I found my original remote and used it.

The buttons on this remote are very, very small. I prefer something with larger buttons. We will be returning this in the next few days.
