I tested this alongside some other options. I do professional audio and video work. This mic is what you’d expect at this price. The “s” sounds are a little sibilant but otherwise okay. It’s convenient, but if you want professional results you’ll likely have to go to a higher end mic into a real recorder.

Works great with my Android smartphone. I plugged the USB-C adapter into the phone, mic into the mic port of the adapter and headphones into the headphone adapter. Note-playback will not happen from your device speakers if you have no headphones hooked up, that might be confusing to some. Great little kit here.

No doubt. Buy this one. Good price, high quality, fine packaging. Forget the other brands.

Powerdewise makes excellent lavalier mics that are relatively affordable. This kit is very similar to their popular mic kit. This includes the microphone, extension cable, TRS adapter for cameras, 2x spare wind muffs, and then the headphone to USB C adapter that has an additional port for headphones. A small carrying pouch is included and everything fits inside of it, it's better quality than you get with a lot of products like this. In fact, every one of the included components are good quality. The microphone sounds great, better than the one built into my iPhone, and that one isn't bad at all. This kit has everything you need to get you started creating whatever kind of audio or video/audio content that you have in mind. It's a small investment, but worth it to spend a little extra upfront, instead of spending less than $20. HIghly recommended!

Pro’s: • Decent price for all the stuff you receive • The mic and everything included seem to be quality built and not cheap • The box includes the microphone itself, an extension cable for the mic, an adapter for the jack (I needed this for my recorder), a USB C adapter (nice addition), two extra foam mic covers and a neat little bag to contain everything • There are also instructions included on how you can request a splitter adapter for free to use. I submitted my request and had the splitter, straight from Amazon with two days or so. That’s Customer Service! Con’s: • None at this time Final thoughts: I have used this microphone several times now and found that it works well with my digital voice recorder. It picks up voices better than the just the built-in recorder mic which is exactly what you want if you are looking for an external mic. I received this Powerdewise USB-C Microphone for free as part of the Vines program but feel I’ve given it a fair, unbiased review. I’ll come back to update my review if anything changes my opinion but so far, I’m happy with this kit. I would recommend this microphone if you are looking for a better way to record audio with a voice recorder or even a cell phone.

I absolutely love this product and have used it extensively in FB live videos and recording interviews. It is a great product for the price. I highly recommend it.

Good product, the audio is good and is very easy to use.

I've been waiting to write a proper review for this product - delayed due to health issues and travelling. This product doesn't work. I've tried with multiple laptops and Macs, the sound quality is soo poor, there is background noise (and please believe me: I tried it on a band new Mac, so it's not a client hardware issue!). Additionally it lacked the USB Type-C , and this is the main reason I purchased it. Please do not sell if you don't deliver. Waste of money.

Didn't have the USB to usb c adaptor as advertised No sound pic up at all , tried on PC and with a usb to usb adaptor I had at home. Really disappointing experience
