highly recommend!
Ordered these for the first time. So far they are great! The material is very sturdy and they hold a decent amount. I would like to note some people complained on their reviews for the bags not staying closed. I always tie a little knot once I am done filling. You wouldn't expect your shoes to stay cinched without tieing them, why would they except a thin cotton string. Don't be swayed by a lack of common sense. I will continue to buy these bags as they have perfectly met my needs and are a great price!

Not a natural fiber bag
These are not what you expect in a teabag. "Normal" teabags absorb water, they sink in the cup or pot, they're porous, they have the hand feel of paper. These don't absorb water; they don't sink in the pot; they have the slick feel that plastic has. I put one, filled with tea, in a small pot of hot water. It floated on top. After repeatedly pushing it underwater it still floated. I left it for 8 hours, it was still floating. It does make liquid tea that is drinkable so it is porous, but after 8 hours the bag still had that slick feel. I emptied the tea leaves and the bag was still as strong as before its use. I was able to refill it with tea and use it again. After the second use, I could have done it a third time. Who knows how many times it would do that. The bottom line, it does make tea but it is not your "normal" teabag that absorbs water, sinks to the bottom, and would most likely fall apart if you tried to empty and refill it. Two stars because it does work but it is clearly not a "natural" fiber such as paper or cotton.

Perfect for containing loose tea for steeping
I prefer to make my own blends and have been using my steeping baskets which are fine for only me. But when I have a crowd and want to make a large amount or my friends don't like tiny pieces of tea leaves at the bottom of their cups (I love my friends but really I have to laugh), these are perfect. They are quite easy to fill and came with a cute little narrow, sturdy measuring scoop that fits perfectly into the bags. They hold one tablespoon of most of my teas. If you are a very frugal person and are careful how you use the bags you could get several uses from them if you don't mind rinsing and keeping track of what tea you used in them. I am quite pleased with these bags. They are easy to fill and close, and steep well. I do enjoy the little scoop that came with them. A nice little bonus.

These are plastic bags.
It's probably my fault for not reading the fine print. These are plastic bags. I did the flame test with one over my stove and it melted into a hard plastic ball. I don't think these are a healthy choice when boiling water is poured on them as I would assume plastic particles could/would leech into the tea. Not my cup of tea.
