Timesulin for Novo Nordisk FlexTouch

I ordered this for the Levemir Flex Touch insulin pen. I have decided to split my doses of the basal insulin, so this makes it easier for me to keep track of injections, and avoid forgetting one, or giving a "double shot". It works great. The product comes with a battery that is protected by a plastic tab so the pen cap is not working until you pull the tab out. The only complaint: the batteries are not replaceable, and the cap lasts one year. The price on Amazon is great, so having to replace it in a year isn't too bad. I also have one for Novolog Flex Pen that I like very much

REVISED: THE PEN CLIP SEPARATED FROM THE UNIT EXPOSING THE BATTERY IT WILL NOT SNAP BACK INTO PLACE... NOT AS DURABLE AS IT SHOULD BE.Where has this been all my life? I suffer from a traumatic brain injury and I have double dosed and missed my insulin shots. This has had a negative effect on my A1C and blood sugars. I never again have to wonder if I have taken my insulin or not. This is for anyone not just those of us with memory problems... it's handy to know when to test as well... look at the pen... oh I gave shot 2 hours ago time to test. Best thing ever!

This is such a great idea, and when it works, it's a great product too. But these little guys don't last. My first made it three days. The one I'm using now as its replacement is dying after 3 months. I give up. I'm very gentle with my possessions and never break things, but I can't keep a timesulin alive.

I love this product. It has saved me on a number of times when I've asked myself, "Did I take/not take my insulin?". All I need to do is look on the cap to see how long it's been since my last injection and then I can figure out if I need an injection or not. Having Diabetes is a challenge and even though it's been 25 years since I was diagnosed, it's easy to get complacent. This tool really helps me stay on top of controlling my blood sugar levels.

Was fabulous for about 2 days and then it just stopped working.

My husband has been an insulin dependent diabetic since his teens. He is so used to taking insulin shots, he sometimes forgets whether he took a shot. The Timesulin cap has a timer on it that resets and starts timing each time the cap is removed from and replaced on the insulin pen. The timer tells him at a glance how long ago he last took a shot. This helps him to get a little better control of his diabetes management.

Very new to insulin pens. And I work days, night, travel, etc. So far has worked as designed but most importantly it is a great time reminder. Maybe not needed if you live on a set schedule but really helps me. Doubly cause I am on Tresiba which you have an 8-42 hour window for your shot.

This thing is a life saver. I can't tell you how many times I couldn't remember if I took my 12 hour insulin or not. The only downside is the battery only last a year so you have to buy a whole new cap. It is only 6.99 though.
