This journal is fantastic. It's made of real leather and very high quality. The appearance reminds me of an old fashion books you see in the movies. It's easy to use and super easy to store. I'd recommend buying for any gift.

I really like how every was packaged. I am using the journal as reflexive journal of a serious ee fvent in my live. Of course I need learn to use the quill much better.All I can say, so far I really like this quill set. I will be buying more in the future!

I do like using ink and quill a lot. It just adds a certain something to my writings. It is very fun and surprisingly you can write a long time with one dip on the ball point tip. I tried to use the other tips and I could write is a single line on a page. Maybe I just don’t know how to use them, but I only needed the ball point tip so it works nonetheless!

A GREAT way for people learning PENMANSHIP AND HANDWRITING!!

This is a beautiful set. The pen looks and feels of nice quality the fountain pen tip writes absolutely wonderful and the journal that came with it is exceptionally nice. Why the 3 stars then? The calligraphy nibs that came with the pen don't seem to properly fit the base also they don't hold ink well, at all. So after trying several calligraphy nibs I just put them up and put the fountain tip back on. I got this set for the calligraphy tips and they don't seem to work well which was disappointing. I still feel the set is worth the value for everything else included.
