Love these light. Feel and look like a quality light. They offer versatile Installation as you can remove the bracket, and there are face mounted holes that go through the light. Using a right angle drill attachment, you could screw directly into the underside lip of the stair tread to mount. They offer more light then another brand step light I have used And they are a discrete Installation tucking nicely under the lip of the step.

I have installed a variety of outdoor lights over time and I have a good sense for the price for quality lighting. I took a chance on these because of the favorable reviews but I thought they cost too little to be high quality. I was wrong. These are very good. They were simple to install. The wire lead was plenty long for my needs. I installed 8 of them on the leading edge of a 90 foot long block wall. The light color is warm white as hoped as opposed to the bright daylight that too often makes your landscape scene look like it was created only for the holidays :).

I was dubious about the product, but after installing with ease, turning them on, just simply wowed me!

The lights are working as expected and have already seen good rain and summer temperatures without issues. The metal plate is a bit smaller than the lights available in local hardware store due to which they have to be installed in a way that they can not be moved to change their lights angle. Second their lights dot not have a defusing glass which makes the LEDs visible if they are not facing down and not pleasant for eyes when looking straight at them. Other than above issues they are great lights.

Stainless steel mount plate attached to light bracket was easy to slip under stone wall 2x4 foot capstones once they were lifted 1/8 inch with a jack. No fasteners-the weight of the capstone keeps them in place. Long leed wire had stranded copper soldered at ends-If installing on wall 4 or more feet high be sure to order the 12” light. Ea light can be adjusted for 5 diff brightness.Nice.Ran wire thru 3/8 Tygon(vinyl) tubing in bottom of space between capstone to back of wall to allow change of lamp if necessary.

Lights in looking they look good. I have installed the lights in the bricks, under granite steps. They were working fine for couple of weeks. about a week back all lights under steps stopped working. other lights around the platform are still working. I can't understand how first 4 lights installed in series are not working and last 4 are working. one day the step lights were going on an off and second, they stopped coming on at all. All 8 are installed in series on same wire and same transfer.

Love theses lights, install with other low voltage lights and they look beautiful, placed these just under the wall caps and ran the wires down thru the walls. There's 3 settings with a button with easy access and they swivel as well, I had place these out front now I'm doing the back yard wall placing 10 more, great product
