I like these for closed shoes (i.e. athletic, walking shoes). Since they provide extra support around the heel and arch, I am able to walk for longer periods without feeling as sore or tired in the soles of my feet.For open shoes where I need something more transparent and discreet to soften the footstrike, I have been using Dr. Scholl's Love My Heels and Wedges.

They are a good sturdy brand. I wash them from time to time.

I have orders these several times. Work for me well as far as the purpose intended.A big drawback the last ones I ordered sqeak! A lot and sound like a bodily function! So this makes them no longer appealing.... but I do like the watch and padding...very torn on if I will ever order again.
