I first saw the Peppermate being used by Jacques Pepin in all of his at-home videos. I thought "if it's good enough for him, it's certainly good enough for me!". I bought one for myself, then for Christmas bought one for each of my family members. The product is stellar -- it's the last pepper grinder you will ever buy. There's no mess and it's great for food prep (pre-grinding and knowing how much you've ground). They are great gifts too and I will be buying more.On top of that, the service is fantastic. My husband stupidly put the plastic tray in hot water to wash so it split and I needed a replacement, but because I live in Canada, the shipping cost would be 4x the cost of the replacement tray. At the last minute, I ended up travelling to the US on a short trip and reached out to Peppermate -- they rushed a shipment across the country to me and were in communication with me the whole time. Thank you to Seth for taking care of me and my tray!

This pepper mill functions extremely well. The knob is easy to turn, it has a container to contain the droppings or you can sprinkle them directly in your food. I love that the grind can be adjusted as I find some grinds do not give a fine grind. This is perfect. It is also very easy to fill and has a lifetime warranty . I would consider buying a second one to use as a salt mill too. Also very attractive and I would easily have this at the table . Very happy with this purchase.
