I always have a cover on my keyboard. I bought this one for my granddaughter. She had a hard time deciding between a pink one and a purple. She put it on the keyboard and it fit perfectly with no shifting at all. She loved it. That same day, she had a drink by the computer (AGAIN) and spilled it. I was able to soak up the drink without any getting on the keyboard. If you can get the right one for your model of computer, it is a must-have.

I really want to love this. It quietens my typing, which was an unexpected plus! Keeps crumbs and dust out of my keys for the most part (which is why I bought it), but it won't lay completely flat. There's one small area on the top and one on the bottom that comes up just enough to let little particles get in under there. I just wish I could smooth it out completely.

Easy to type on. I was concerned about that initially. Fits well, though I thought this was more of a sticker. It isn't. It is rubber, and covers the keyboard section of my laptop completely. It makes typing practically silent, which is a good thing, in most situations. It feels sturdy. It makes my laptop look prettier (which I admit I like). I think for the price, it was a good buy.

I’ve ordered the black key-color style before but after 2 years, about two of the keys on the cover rubbed out of color. I recently ordered the rainbow style and love it! My first purchase came with a slightly more noticeable bump(?) - the cover would stick up slightly along the space key tab, but this second time I have not had that same issue. It does a great job of keeping dirt/dust/etc out of your laptop keyboard.

Several weeks ago I broke a single key on my Acer Aspire 515-51W. I tried purchasing a new key only to discover that the metal hinge on the computer itself was broken. Desperate to avoid a $80+ repair I got this to hold the broken key in place and it works perfect. Saved myself some money and headache. Got my computer back. I can't explain how hard it was too write papers for school without the (<.) key.
