Replacement Individual E Key Cap and Hinges are Applicable for MacBook Pro A1706 A1707 A1708 Keyboard to Replace The E Keycap

This worked so well to fix my MacBook Pro. I originally thought there was something wrong with the Key itself but the problem was actually the white part that comes in this repair kit. The little hinge arm had borken which creates a soft corner on the edge of the key. I would press the key and nothing would happen. Repairing the white part was a bit challenging and I watched a few youtube videos about how it is done. I would recommend doing the same when you attempt the repair as it can potentially make the problem worse. I used a small safety pin to pry up the old parts and snap down the new one. It works flawlessly and matches the other keys perfectly. If it was a key that is rarely used I wouldn't have replaced it but the E key is heavily used. I even had taken the computer to a few shops who wanted to replace the entire keyboard to fix one key. I am so happy with this purchase and my computer has been working flawlessly for a few months now.

Unfortunately Apple's design for this keyboard is very well known to be poor. I replaced several key caps with these and they're no different than OEM. Definitely recommended if you're experiencing similar problemss (stuck keys, non responsive keys etc. However, as well as they worked it was time for me to purchase a new laptop anyway. They're still working just fine on my older macbook pro.
