Cool Gimmick, But Impractical
We all know why we want this keyboard. There are bluetooth keyboards for much cheaper that do the job just fine, but we want the one that costs over one hundred dollars, because why? Because it's made out of glass and it's freaking awesome. So if you do what I did and buy it for the gimmick, you'll get by.However, if you're looking for pure functionality, I would opt out for a tactile keyboard, because man this thing sucks at its job. It frequently disconnects, you can't type at a fast speed, and the accuracy of landing key strokes is less than optimal. But that's what you get for a bluetooth keyboard that is made out of glass. If you like the idea of having a sick glass keyboard that lights up Tony Stark style in the living room to impress your guests, buy it. I won't lie it's awesome. But if you're looking for something more functional, I'd go for a Logitech.

Better for it's looks than it's functionality
Just purchased this keyboard a week ago and at first it was a cool thing to have. It has a futuristic TRON look which is probably the best part of this keyboard. It was also cool how it could be connected through bluetooth. The response time on the keyboard is not to great though. I literally have to type each letter two seconds apart from each other in order for the keyboard to respond accurately. If you type too fast, you're whole sentence/paragraph will have a giant red line under it from the spell check.I also didn't like how the Number's and the F1-F12 buttons were all on the same keys. For a mac, it kept me from using some of the keys for volume control/ pause + play, etc. There's also a feature where the keyboard can switch to track pad. Unfortunately on a Mac, the keyboard ONLY registers as a keyboard so certain swipes and gestures won't work on trackpad mode. The trackpad response time is not as stream-line as an actual trackpad that you would from Apple. There were buttons to hit where you could switch between "Keyboard" Mode and "Trackpad" Mode. Switching between typing and trackpad kind of became annoying. Especially if the keyboard didn't register me switching, then I'd end up typing a whole bunch of the same letters instead of being in trackpad mode. Another thing that I wish Bastron would do is somehow incorporate key commands on BOTH "Keyboard" Mode and "TrackPad" Mode instead of just "keyboard mode. And also allow Mac to read it as a trackpad as well to allow more functions.

Product looks very cool. It is difficult to type and will need to take some time to get used too. Unfortunately there is no sound button for my iMac so I have to do it in settings. Other than that it is very cool. The lights are a great feature.

Useless!
I cannot get through a single sentence without it skipping characters that I type. I am sorely disappointed. It should not get any stars. I want my money back.

Recommend it for people who are in "wet" environment
Water proof, it is functional. Recommend it for people who are in "wet" environment. We use it on our sailboat.

Well the keyboard is a really cool keyboard, aesthetically

The key presses do not respond with normal typing. Because of this, you get sentences that are just a bunch of letters strung together incoherently. The keys also do not respond to quick repeat presses, such as typing “ee” in sheep, you’ll end up with shep unless you wait at least a full second between presses.Another bad bit is the keyboard does not have a right side shift key. The control (ctr) and function (fn) keys are switched compared to a standard mac keyboard.Overall, this gets 2 stars. 1 star because it is a keyboard and it does technically work, with some adjustments to how you type, 2 because it looks freakin sick. I am returning this product after 3 days owning and using. On a side note, IKEA could use this to name their products.

this is an excellent keyboard, I use it only for typing
this is an excellent keyboard, I use it only for typing, not like touch pad, this keyboard remind mi the avatar movie, I remember all the technology that offering Cameron to us, hologram, transparent monitor, tablet and keyboard, and now I have it on my desk, little expensive, yes but well made, aluminium frame, you can clean the glass easily, very sensitive for touching. Bluetooth connectivity, oh for that you must buy separately a usb adapter dongle V 4.0, work very well, no need for software. I give it 4 star, for tow reason, one because it have just one shift knob, the second for its battery, I think when came to the end of its life like every battery does, I must return it to the fabric to replace it, they must put it interchangeable, which means I can replace it without personal technical.
