Kenwood Electronics KAX400PL - mixer/food processor accessories

My wife convinced me to buy this attachment for our Kenwood Titanium stand mixer. On the face of it, it's a ridiculous attachment. All it does is turn whatever is pushed down the feeding tube into half inch (10mm actually) cubes. I mean who can't cut a potato into cubes? Well it turns out this almost commercial grade attachment is one of my favourite attachments. Want to make a chicken vegetable soup for your family? Peel the veg and run as much as you want to make as large of a soup as you want. If you pre cook the chicken you can run that as well and it will dice the chicken for you. Want a beetroot and hickema salad to go along with the green salad in the summer? This is how you do it. Perfectly cubed cheese? This is the machine for it. I've got a lot of Kenwood attachments and this ridiculously overengineered beast is one of my top ones. Definitly five stars. As to cooking the chicken, poach boneless chicken until it's firm. Let it cool and run the chicken through the dicer and use the water as part of the stock. Do not run raw meat of any kind through this dicer. It gets ugly and it's a bear to clean.
