Functional and nice looking
I play acoustic guitar in a rock band with 2 other electric guitarists. We use close micing on guitar amps, with monitors in front of us and have seperate stage mixes to keep our volume as low a possible. I was having issues with my guitar feeding back (it has a peizo pickup and a soundhole microphone). I originally turned to the rubber sound hole cover, but had to always take it out when playhing unamplified. The beautiy of this Lute hole cover is that it does the job of preventing feedback, but also lets alot more of the sound come through when not being amplified. I always leave it in now and I get a numnber of comment on how nice it looks. Highly receommened if you want somethign that looks nice and does the job.

Great
I sanded and stained it then clear coated it. The only thing is the foam things that hold it to the guitar get a little work out quick and it'll start to move too easily. Still reccomend it and think its awesome

Does not reduce enough sound.
I bought this item to reduce sound coming out of my acoustic guitar, with the intent of reducing/eliminating amplifier feedback. This item looks really nice, but does not reduce much sound. It did not reduce the feedback from my amplifier.

This is a GREAT product !
OK...no matter how hard you try there are times when a "plugged in" acoustic guitar will feed back, you can not be in control of the sound system all the time. And, you may be playing a very nice guitar that you are quite proud of and don't want to stick a piece of rubber on the front of it. This product works, and it looks good. The various styles work well to reduce feedback from slight, moderate to severe. A great idea.

Finally a beautiful sound hole cover
I was looking for something other than the ugle black rubber things the cover sound holes. This was the ticket. They are very expensive from everywhere except Amazon for some reason. I did have to modify mine a bit since my neck protrudes a tad into the sound hole, but no big deal. A very pretty addition to my Michael Kelly fretless bass

Works great and looks great
Works great and looks great. I use it on my Ibanez electric/acoustic nylon string guitar, and people often ask about and remark on it. My only issue, if it ultimately was an issue, is the pattern I ordered (and that was shown in picture on amazon) was not the pattern I received. Still, the one I received, though not my preference, was still beautiful.
