My dog goes crazy for this stuff. Seriously, ...
My dog goes crazy for this stuff. Seriously, it's basically dog crack. I use it for training treats. I cut off a small portion to use up over a week, and keep the rest in the freezer. It is smelly and sticky - I cut it into small, thumbnail sized cubes for training, and it leaves sticky, smelly liver residue all over my hands after a walk or obedience class, and I have to wash my hands 3 times to get the smell off, but my dog will all but backflip to get a taste. It's a high value treat that commands her attention from everything except squirrels. Still haven't found a treat that will make her ignore the fat tree rats in the park.

Dog loves it but it makes her sick! :(
This unfortunately made my dog sick. She absolutely loves it - the only thing I've seen that makes her drool! But after our second order, and digestive problems both times, I don't think I can use it any more. The first time, she didn't have trouble digesting it until we'd had it for a while - so I thought something else was causing the problems or that the product had spoiled/gone bad. We went a week without this on some vet recommended dog food to fix the stomach issues. Then I got a second shipment of this, and after 24 hours of having it, she was sick again. :( I was only using this for treats and training, not as her food. Perhaps its just too rich for my dog. I'm bummed, since she likes it so much - all the other dogs who aren't affected by it are lucky!

Perfect consistency for training treats!
I am a professional dog trainer and use this product frequently. It is the perfect consistency -- not crumbly or pasty like other brands (I have also tried Pet Botanics and Natural Balance rolls), so there is less mess and distraction when using it for training. Going through about a 3rd of the log at a time, I cut it into tiny cubes, put them into ziploc sandwich bags, and store them in the fridge until ready to use. I have even found that if you leave the cubes out of the fridge in the open air overnight (oops), the cubes dry up nicely without crumbling or spoiling, and become a usable dry treat. Beware: I also once purchased the Lamb and Rice flavor roll and it was unusable for training because of its consistency. Very dry and crumbly, so the cubes I cut didn't hold together at all, there were crumbs everywhere, and I wound up tossing it. Not sure if that was an anomaly, but I was disappointed with that flavor and probably won't try it again. This Chicken and Liver roll is now my go-to training reward. I wouldn't feed this as a dog's main meal, but as a treat/reward it is wonderful. Inexpensive, relatively healthy, and most dogs love it. Since I use a lot of treats, using this roll is MUCH more cost effective than purchasing pre-cut training treats. I save even more money by using amazon's Subscribe and Save. Love this product.

Good Product, Reasonable Price , No Recycling and All Three of my dogs like it.
I have 2 Labs and 1 Terrier. All 3 really like all of the flavors of Redbarn roll food. I like that there is no can to recycle . From a health standpoint, the ingredients are good, maybe not as good as some of the very best can foods but still good and at a reasonable price. I usually mix the redbarn with a high quality dry food. Recommended.

Crumbly
This product was good and liked it but it was dry, very dry. I mixed it with warm water and made a soup, only way they would it. This is my first time using this product

Stopped the ninja pooper Boston Terrier.
My Boston Terrier gobbles this food every day as though it were the best thing she ever tasted and feel confident in my choice to start feeding Redbarn food rolls to my little girl. Pudgy loves the chicken and liver, it smells and looks like summer sausage. Indeed, my son nearly took a slice I had on the counter. The best part is that my picky Boston would only eat food that seemed to produce a higher volume of waste than what actually went in... With this product, that problem has been completely resolved. Nuggets instead of a kielbasa. Sorry to be so gross, but when potty training a puppy while living in an apartment, the poop factor is a huge consideration.... In my next order I plan to try the beef as well.

New formula is NOT good!
The new formula reminds me of the Natural Balance Dog Food Rolls new formula. I used to buy tons of RedBarn for training treats specifically because of the consistency, which was very different than Natural Balance. The old RedBarn was easy to cut into little cubes or "matchsticks" for training treats and would hold its shape. The pieces were smooth when cut. The new RedBarn is much like the NB roll, in that it dissolves into a crumbly mess. The cut treats are rough and little pieces come off in your hand. If your dog licks your hand and makes it wet, all of the little pieces start to stick to the slobber. It then makes a slobbery, crumbly mess all over your hand, and if you're out and about, often the only thing left to do is to wipe your hand on your pants leaving a streak of brown, drooly crumbles. When it dries, it's these crusty, dried-out crumbly pieces.I'm really sad because this used to be my go-to training treat. I can't tell you how many rolls I've bought over the years and recommended to clients. *Sigh* I'll be looking for a new treat now... Hard to find something that is moderately healthy, the dogs like, and is okay on the budget. Maybe I'll start making my own chicken treats or something...
