Great project boxes. Have used these for multiple projects over the years. Box itself comes with a water proof lid and a gasket seal around the edge. Box may not be water proof once you cut into it for sensors, wiring, switches, meters, etc... So if you do need it to be water proof make sure all the parts you use are also waterproof. Box lid is thick and even with a dremel and a grinding disc took a while to cut through. Overall a sturdy box for projects.

Works perfectly! Good quality, able to be drilled through as needed without cracking. Durable and size is exactly as described.

It only gets a four bc of the screws. It came with one screw holding the top on and 2 screws loose in the box Not the 4 needed. But it is a heavy duty and good quality. I do like the recessed area in the lid to install the IP67 tubing. It should stay in place. If not a touch of glue perhaps.

A little deeper than i thought but worked out perfectly, i wished there was more options for sizes..

I turned this into a leverless arcade controller with sanwa buttons. The material itself is solid, so I have a leverless controller that's built like a tank. If only they'd come up with a flatter and wider size, say 14x8x2", or like 12x6x1.5", it would be perfect.

I searched for hours to find this and couldn't. Then Amazon emailed me with the usual 'based on your' subject and they'd found exactly the right size for me. I've installed it. It works. Easy to drill the holes where I wanted. And I've got ventilation holes where I drilled them in the wrong place. Everyone's a winner!
