It’s not the light that’s faulty. It’s the manual.
I have only just bought this light but thought I should do a quick review now. I will update this review if things change. My reason for the review is the manual is now incorrect. It states the light flashes green when charging. It does, but the green light is behind the red filter so it doesn't look green! it looks orange (although its green, keep up) also, the power indicators are tiered in different colours ie blue=full charge, green=half charge and so on but these again are behind the red lens so you're on your own with that one. You can just make out the blue but its pretty hopeless. Also, the power indicator doesnt show all the time. According to the manual, it should display all the time the light is being used. Now it only displays it for a couple of seconds (for what its worth). Here is the link that explains this (since learned links are not allowed in reviews). Its great they improved light life but not at the expense of everyone returning them only to have it replaced with another light that does work but seems faulty. This is the reason I have given it 3 stars. As a product its not very good if the instructions are wrong. I will update this if I get any issues down the line. Hope this helps someone troubleshoot their issues

Good but awkward charging port
Quality is good, brightness is excellent, battery life is very good, waterproofness is flawless so far, but the design of the charging port is sub-optimal. The hole surrounding the connector just isn't wide enough to properly accommodate a USB plug, and I'm using some fairly slimline plugs. You really have to force it in to get it to charge, and even then it tends to lose contact over the course of charging and give up. You'd basically need a caseless USB plug to get this working properly.

the best and brightest
The best bike light I've ever had so far. It's extremely bright, I've started using it during the day as well.It might be a placebo effect, but drivers seem to actually notice me on the road since I got it.It has an internal battery which lasts enough so that it doesn't get annoying, charges over USB and is waterproof. The mounting mechanism is just a really heavy duty elastic strap, I have not had problems with it -- stays where I put it.

Reliable and well designed
Clips on perfectly to my Topeak saddle bag. Very secure but would be just as good wrapped around the seat post with the rubber strap provided. The clip would also work well on a belt or rucksack pocket. The clip is part of the casing so it not a flimsy add on.I have it on flash as I also run a tail light that is on all the time. It does 5 hours in normal flash mode without recharge. The light indicator is helpful to know when you need to charge it up.It's beeen thoroughly soaked by rain and road spray throughout the winter without any problem. It feels like it will last well as it's got a strong casing and robust design. I think when I change my front light I would look at Lezyne first as they seem to be making good kit

The brightest pulse is very good.
Brightness, quality and fix is all good.Only downside is the button is not a reassuring click so instead of switching off you accidentally move to the next light mode so have to scroll through them all again next time you use it.The brightest pulse is very good though.
