I really like this light for my upstairs hallway. It was easy to install and is a nice update to the 1990s light that was there. Gives the hallway a more streamlined look with lots of light. I connected a Lutron device to my switch and I’m vary happy that everything works well together. Since this doesn’t use bulbs, I’ll be interested to see how long it lasts. I’m not at all used to LED lights but I hope they are something I can get behind because the price was great. If the only reason why I’d have to change this fixture in the next five years is because of aesthetics, I would’ve exceeded value for my money.

I bought this for my mom as she was getting her kitchen remodeled. The contractor put it in, so I have no idea as to how easy or hard it was to install. But this light is amazing. The amount of light it puts out is awesome. It looks fabulously clean and sleek. My mom loves it so much she asked me to get her more. She plans on putting them in several other rooms around the house. Excellent but for the price. I saw something very, very similar in one of the big box hardware stores for over twice the price.

This light was installed at the bottom of the stairs leading to a basement living room. It replaced an Ikea light that was broken by a toddler with a toy. It installed in approximately 10-12 minutes and that includes the time used to remove the old light fixture. Everything connected easily and all necessary parts were included. To mount the light you will need to start the screws in the junction box and then line them up with the mounting holes. Once in the hole, you'll want to twist to secure the light and then tighten the screws. Don't try to screw the light directly to the junction box without starting the screws first. The light "glass" is actually plastic but you cannot tell by looking at the light. That is actually preferable for us since the toys in our home are occasionally used a projectiles so there won't be another incident of broken glass on the floor. I am pleased with this light and it definitely enhanced the space. I am considering replacing a few other lights in the house with this light, with one exception. I wouldn't use the 4000K light for living areas and prefer the softness of the 3000K range lights for those spaces . The 4000K works well for the basement staircase area so just know your space before selecting the color temperature of the light.

This light was to replace a broken fixture in my stairwell. It sheds a lot more light than my previous fixture that used a CFL bulb. I like the way it looks, modern and clean lines. The install for me was not as easy as it was for others. Took me about an hour because I struggled with a) getting the wires to stay connected when capped, and b) getting the fixture to hang. My problems were solved by a) stripping the fixture wires down a little further so that I had more length to wrap around the house wiring, and b) moving the hanging screws in the bracket to the outer set of holes (I was using the existing bracket and apparently the previous light fixture needed the more narrowly spaced holes). Just took a little figuring out since I'm a novice. I'm very pleased with this fixture and would buy again.

Out bathroom had an issue with not being bright enough for the enclosed space. I had taken the cover off the light to brighten things up and decided it needed to be done right. This LED light is very lightweight with a plastic cover but it looks nice enough that the material does not matter. I bought the 5K light and it's perfect, not too bright and it mounted directly into where the old light fixture was attached to the ceiling so it took less than 5 minutes to install. Nice bright light for the money, it's inexpensive and feels that way but it looks like a more expensive light.
