Awesome bases!
These beds are great! The massage feature is so good, 4 different modes & around 7 levels of intensity (just keep pressing the head/feet buttons for more power if needed) Love that you can change the pre-programmed position settings as well as add an additional setting for the memory button. (Although zero gravity is heaven, so definitely not changing that!) Also love the usb ports & soft underbed lights. Option to sync is fantastic as we did not want 2 separate mattresses, so purchased 2 twin xl bases & a kingsize memory foam mattress & synced the bases (so easy, just plug the included sync cable into both beds) Best purchase we have made, very happy & getting the best sleep. Wish we'd bought them years ago!

Wonderful! Caution: super heavy, need help to set up for sure
It’s simple and smooth, love it. Would have preferred wall hugger technology (your head moves quite far forward from your bedside table when up), but got this for sale on Prime day and it was a good choice. Would have also preferred a choice of leg heights (these make the bed a bit high). I haven’t set up the voice activation yet, a main reason for this level purchase, will update if I get it working. Caution: you really need to either be extra strong or have 3+ people to flip it over once you’ve screwed the legs on, it is super heavy and you must not use the legs to pivot on. Annoyed with the always-on tiny green LED lights under the bed, like all modern equipment (why does all electrical equipment now need tiny lights on always?), super annoying at night. I prefer true darkness, so I’ll cover it up somehow. Love it overall!

Can't recommend this adjustable base highly enough! You will not regret purchasing!
I was directed by my doctor fairly recently to get an adjustable bed. I recently learned that adjustable bases do not have to cost an arm and a leg. Stores over-charge for bases by about a 400% to 900% markup. For example: A similar base to the Lucid L600 in one of my local bed shops costs about $2300 in a twin XL and doesn't include voice control! I bought the Lucid L600 adjustable base (Twin XL size) around April 5, 2021. I had been researching adjustable bases for 2 months prior, before landing on the L600. Everyone knows that most adjustable bases are made in China with the same cheap metal, etc. The Lucid bases are made in Taiwan, but similar care should be taken. If that gives you pause, consider that many makes of the true high end Audiophile gear are also made in Taiwan, not to mention China either partially or on the whole. That said, there is a distinct advantage to going with a Lucid base, I will get to momentarily. Lucid, offers 5 levels of adjustable bases: The L100, L150, L300, Advanced and L600 The L600 is their top model. All bases come with fixed height legs, but you can purchase adjustable ones through Lucid or Amazon if needed. What makes the Lucid L600, L300 and Advanced stand out? For starters, it is the warranty. The standard warranty on adjustable bases of almost any other make is 1-year Limited just for the frame, the motors and other parts are not covered! Lucid offers a 10-year Limited warranty on the L600, L300 and Advanced models. This is almost unheard of in this industry! Lucid's warranty breaks down this way: YEARS 1-3: Warranty covers defects in the workmanship or materials for a period of three (3) years from the date of purchase. Lucid® will send replacement parts for any defective part to the purchaser, and Lucid® will pay all authorized labor and transportation costs associated with the repair or replacement of any parts. YEARS 4-10: During the years four (4) through ten (10) from the date of purchase, Lucid® will offer replacement parts for any defective mechanical part. Purchaser shall pay 1/7th of the replacement cost of the defective part multiplied by the number of years since three (3) years after the warranty commencement date and Lucid® shall bear the remainder of the cost of the replacement part. The purchaser shall bear all labor and shipping costs associated with repair or replacement of the defective part(s). An exception to this is the metal frame, which is covered in full for the duration of the 10 year warranty. On top of that though is the customer support Lucid offers that has to be experienced to be believed! I can't effectively describe it, you have to experience it. I had spoken with reps at Lucid several times before purchasing the L600 and every time they answered the phone within two rings and more importantly, they are the friendliest and most helpful folks! They treat their customers like family. They have no hesitation or endless red tape to deal with regarding warranty or repair or any other issues with their customers. The customer service manager told me that they like to give the benefit of doubt to their customers should a warranty or repair issue occur instead of just throwing the customer under the bus automatically. It is unheard of to get this kind of warranty and support on a product like this. You may purchase products from the Lucid website and you are taken to Amazon to complete the purchase in most cases. Lucid has exclusive contracts with Amazon, Walmart and Wayfair. The L600 (as with all their bases) is easy to assemble. If you have a partner to help, assembly takes about 10 minutes. TIPS: The hardest part of assembling the base is flipping it onto its feet. The twin XL size is 100 pounds. This is why two people are recommended in assembly. Be careful NOT to lean it on its side using the legs as leverage to flip the base over! This increases the chance of either bending or breaking the leg bolts or a frame weld. If you don't have a partner to help, you can assemble it from beneath: look further in the customer comments on Amazon for how to do it. I also recommend that you use furniture sliders under the legs if you want to move the bed for any reason after assembly. Put one under each leg. Get the plastic ones for carpet and felt ones for hard floors. These can be had on the cheap. On any adjustable base I have heard a number of times about people going to move the bed a couple of inches and wind up bending or breaking a leg bolt or a weld due to too much pressure in one direction. This is true of any brand base. Pros (or what I like): Excellent customer support 10 year limited warranty High quality Okin motors with smooth, perfect speed operation, not too fast or slow. 18 button remote with clearly marked buttons including one programmable button and presets can also be reprogrammed by the end user! Backlit remote Android and iOS apps for more customization USB ports Under bed lighting Three strength and multi-mode massage Voice control (Siri only at this time, but Alexa ability is currently in the works and will be free for all owners when released) Cons: (Nothing is perfect so let's look at the caveats): While the remote is backlit it only comes on when you have pressed a button. Finding the correct button in the dark is impossible. Too bad the backlight on the remote does not activate with movement. The only other caveat is that there is no separate massage strength button, one just hits the head or foot massage button again to cycle through the strength. The "Mode" button cycles through the different massage modes. This is not that big a deal though, just something to note. Overall, the caveats hardly take away from the greatness of the product and with support like Lucid offers there is no reason not to consider an adjustable base from this company. Last tip: If you want to get the L600, L300 or the like, I highly suggest avoiding Wayfair at the moment. You are far better off going through the Lucid website or direct through Amazon or even Walmart. I recommend the Lucid/ Amazon route. You don't have to just take my word for it. If you are looking at getting an adjustable base (they also have mattresses and other bedding items) and have some questions, technical or otherwise. Go ahead and contact the good folks at Lucid and experience it for yourself!

Love this however….
I love this bed! However….. Picture this: one fat old lady, exhausted from my grandson’s birthday party of 12 5 year olds, blissfully watching TV that evening in my lovely new adjustable bed with both head and feet up, decide it’s time to go to sleep…… oh noooooo - the remote will not work to put it into a sleeping position - oh my - what do I do? I’m too tired to deal with this but I have no choice so I get out the troubleshooting guide to find that the Bluetooth remote has probably become unpaired and I’ll have to press some buttons on the control box. No biggie except where is the control box? It must be by the USB ports, right? Nope. Someplace else accessible? Nope. It’s way in under the bed. Unfortunately…. this fat old lady cannot possibly fit under the bed. You see, there are only about 6 inches between my bed frame and floor. What!!?? My head wouldn’t even fit through that gap let alone my fat body! It would take a small child but I have none of those around and it’s 2 AM. So I find 2 stools to prop up the frame as best as I can so I can slide underneath the bed to follow the instructions. To say I “slid” underneath sounds INFINITELY more graceful than it was in reality but on the up side I discovered I could have a career as a contortionist if I wanted - 69 years old and I never knew this! AGT here I come!! As I was under there and could NOT get it to pair, I realized how dangerous what I was doing was and that it could easily fall and crush me…. I thought about my will, and thankfully, yes, it was up to date but there are still some things I want to do with my life such as watching my grandchildren grow up. So I carefully slid out (again with great grace), unpropped the frame and slept (if you can call it that) crossways in the bed in the hollow that’s created when both head and feet are elevated. It was not exactly comfortable but, oh well, I was alive, right? Anyway, I am here to say I finally did get it to pair the next day still with great difficulty but at least I could see. When you are under the bed the control box is about an inch from your eyes and these old eyes don’t adjust like they used to. But with daylight the visibility was better and thankfully the remote has a flashlight - now I know why. Also with the light of day I realized it probably wouldn’t have killed me if it had fallen but just broken a few ribs since it was just my headboard/footboard/side rail frame I had to prop up, not the entire bed. So the secret (they don’t tell you this in the booklet) if your remote unpairs itself is to first unplug the bed and then plug it back in before all the other maneuvers you will have to go through. Really though I think the position of the box is a design flaw, I’m not an engineer or anyone other than your average consumer but it would make great sense to me if the “control box” was located on one side or the other or head or foot. 4 sides - pick one! Anywhere at all that fat old people don’t have to get under the bed. Just my 2 cents. Despite this episode, I LOVE the bed frame. I hate to get out of it in the morning (except if I’m sleeping crossways). I usually sleep with my head up a few inches but I love the zero gravity position for lounging. And to be able to adjust it however you want for watching TV is wonderful. It’s made me love my mattress even more than I already did. My lazy boy has basically been sitting unused since I got this adjustable bed. I’d say get one if you are on the fence especially if you have small children to help you with the control box if necessary. I don’t know why the unpairing happened, maybe one of the dogs sat on the remote? I don’t know but if it becomes a regular occurrence or if it unpairs itself during power outages of which we have a fair number, I’ll have to rethink this 5 star review. I’m hoping, no - I’m praying, it was a one time thing. I will update if necessary. Update: my fault for not reading the instructions my thoroughly, they DO say to unplug it first AND - the bed can also be controlled my an app on your phone. Who knew!! I’m having trouble getting the memory function to work so I can customize the settings. I’ve followed the instructions to a T and still can’t get it to work.

Very impressed
Bought this bed on Amazon days sale, and it has been awesome. I just got out of the hospital recently, and needed a reclining bed, and I am glad I bought this the set up is super simple, the reclining function is really smooth, the remote was also very easy to pair, the massage function is cool, and the underbed lights work good as a nightlight. I only had one issue with the bed, but with one live chat with Amazon customer service, my issue was quickly solved.
