MEDIUM liners vs LARGE liners
I felt compelled to write a review on this product. I've bought both the medium and the large Trixie litter tray liners. Most of the reviews on here were for the large ones and the only reviews that I could find for the medium ones, only said things like "great", "does the job" etc.I thought at first I would buy the large. I have a large hooded litter tray from a well know high street store. It's the same as the Simons Cat litter trays on Amazon! I've always used tray liners, used Bob Martin ones that were the perfect size, then when they changed their name to felight they were still perfect, that was until they changed the packaging to not include "new" when the bags suddenly shrunk and in order to fit my tray I had to stretch them sometime they would rip. Just not ideal but slightly better than not having liners. So I thought I'd give these a try. After finding the large and buying! Soon realised they really are LARGE they swamped my litter tray, but better than the felight. I think these would probably be well suited to the jumbo cat lit tray.Thought for £2 when I was ordering some other stuff that I'd add the MEDIUM liners in to make up the £20 for free delivery. These are literally the perfect size for my cat lit tray!!! So happy that I found them. No more having to stretch liners or having to keep tucking the larger liners under the tray.People talk about the quality of the liners and cats ripping them. Let me clarify these are very good quality. But obviously cats claws are sharp (my old cat once saw her shadow in a tent kept on it and we had 2 lovely rips down the side!!). So if your cat does scratch in the tray they will be ripped. One of my cats does this, but it's still better than no liner, and makes cleaning it much easier and quicker.Hope this review is helpful for anyone wondering whether to buy the MEDIUM liners.

Change in quality recently. Updated!
MAY 2019 UPDATEFor a while now the quality of these bags was an improvement on my previous review, below. However, as mentioned by other recent reviewers the quality is back to being poor. The bags are thin again and tear easily. Yet again I say, come on Trixi sort this out, why do you keep messing with the type of bag and the quality?????I have been buying these liners for some years and recently the quality has been mixed to say the least. In the last batch of packs I bought there have been heavier "gauge" liners in some of the packs, mixed with some of the normal weight ones. You might expect these heavier ones (they're thicker and stiffer) to be better, they most definitely are not. They split along the seam - not what you want when picking up a liner of used cat litter, that's for sure. You can definitely tell the difference in the heavier liners and the normal weight ones (that have been the norm for years). just by the feel. Thankfully I've not had an entire pack of the heavier ones, Trixie seem to be mixing them in with the normal ones. If, like me, you double line the tray so you just have to lift the liner out and leave a clean liner in the bottom, I'd use the heavier one on the bottom layer, and NOT for the litter to be used, keep the normal more malleable liners for the actual litter.Come on Trixie, no more of these dodgy bags please! (Hopefully my most recent batch won't have any of these heavier bags in.)

very flimsy but i guess you get what you pay for
Bought these for my 2 cats medium litter tray, and i have to admit being strapped for cash i thought i would try some cheaper ones than my usual trusted brand.Oh dear attempt one with the first liner tearing with me just opening it but i put it in the tray as i managed to minimise the damage.Enter Charmy the crazy, dig for Australia cat.....Charmy 1 litter liner 0So i thiught i will try 2 liners and that will help? Enter Charmy..nope he tore through both liners very quicklyCharmy 2 litter liners 0In a last ditch effort to salvage some kind of use out of these liners i placed 3 in, one on top of the other bound to work right? Nope Charmy 3 litter tray liners 0.Now i am a firm believer that you get what you pay for, and i am sure that if your cat does not dig for Australia these liners would be more than adequate.Me i will be returning to my reassuringly expensive liners which my cat seems to struggle to destroy!

Fantastica idea. Strong, easy to clean the tray. But only Only get the big ones. They small ones don’t fit big or small trays.
I know these are litter tray liners, but I tell you they are WONDERFUL! No more paper lining the tray! No more danger of litter spilling out as you clean! Just remove the lot and bin! Strong. Even with the side clip trays, they can be put between the top and base and do not tear. But by the bigger ones. The smaller size do not fit very well. I have both a large tray the smaller ones would refuse to fit and a small one, where it’s a struggl, and can’t end up with holes trying! Other than that. Buy these! My life is changed!

Highly recommended
So easy to clean out cat tray. It's a case of lift and bin. Quick clean and refill.I do put old newspaper on top of liner before putting litter on to ensure there is no tearing in liner.Highly recommend
