The Tramontina 80120/509DS 8 Qt Lock & Drain Pasta Cooker Pot with Strainer Lid is safe up to 350 F Degrees when used with the lid and up to 500 F Degrees when used without the lid. Prolonged exposure to high heat settings may cause your cookware to discolor. To recondition your cookware or to remove stubborn spots or stains, use a nonabrasive pad and quality stainless steel cleanser such as Bar Keepers Friend®.
