Beurer BR60 Insect Bite Healer

I'm one of those people that attract mosquitos...my whole life I've been plagued with swarms of mosquitos and the resulting multitude of bites. This bite healer seemed to good to be true when I came across it, but I figured it was worth a try. Once I received in I didn't have to wait long to get the opportunity to give it a shot (I'd never been more excited to get bitten) - let me tell you that this little device is a life saver!! It's size makes it easily transportable, which is good because you want to zap those bites as soon as you can for maximum benefits. I will say though, that I've used the device on day-old bites and it still works really well. I found that once I used the device on a bite - I didn't even think about it, let alone feel itchy AT ALL. It works by putting intense heat on the bite itself, which can be uncomfortable, but is absolutely worth saving yourself from being constantly itchy. If you're your family's mosquito magnet - do yourself a favor and get yourself this bite healer.

I get really itchy mosquito bites that swell up and turn red, and generally, it makes me hate mosquitoes, getting bitten, and the great outdoors. I've tried everything else, from rubbing salt, toothpaste, garlic, those sticks with some kind of liquid to stop the itchiness, multiple medications. The only thing that kind of worked was taking multiple medications, but then I'm sleepy, and I'm also popping tons of pills every several hours. Also, you're carrying around a lot of kit. All the other things only worked for a short period of time, or just made it a little less itchy, so I had resigned myself to a life of itchiness. Plus, you know, since I react so badly to bites, mosquitoes are attracted to me and to no one else. I stumbled across the heated spoon trick recently, and I was desperate, so the next time I got bitten, I was just outside the house, and I tried it. It actually worked for both me and my son. However, carrying an electric kettle and a spoon out in the field isn't really feasible. So I got this nifty little item. Unfortunately, for some bites, it does not seem to work very well, but I suspect that's because they aren't mosquito bites. When I have a confirmed mosquito bite, this item is amazing. I have only done the 3 second option because it's already hot before 3 s, and I'm worried about burns. Plus, the 3 s option is enough if it's a mosquito bite. I just killed a blood sucking mosquito earlier today, and within a few minutes, I used this item, and it did try to swell up, but it wasn't itchy at all. Now, a few hours later, the swelling and the redness is gone. No itchiness. I totally recommend this item. It's convenient, it's portable, it's easy to use. Plus, you don't smell of garlic or have sticky fingers from smearing some weird paste that only sort of works for a couple hours at most, and then you're stuck trying to use other home remedies for the next couple days. In addition to healing from the weeping wound that you've scratched open. So just buy it.

This is literally the only device I've used that ACTUALY stops the intense itch I experience with mosquito bites. When I get punctured by mosquitos in my native Texas, the bite area swells enormously & the itch is so intense I sometimes think I'm gonna lose my mind. Over the years, I've tried countless creams, ointments, gels, pills, etcetera; but this little heating device is the only aid that has every stopped the itch dead in its tracks! I experienced one the worst mosquito attacks of my life back in October 2023, which is when I went searching for something that would actually help. On just one area of my body, & I counted them all out, there were over 100 bites, sometimes right next to each other - in just one area, that doesn't count all the rest over my body. When I received this little miracle of science device, it sometimes took multiple applications of the heat to get the itching to stop, but stop it finally did! I could not believe it, but the proof was in me not itching any more. Thankfully, I have not had such a horrible mosquito attack like that again, but I have continued to use the Beurer BR60 Insect Bite Relief Pen. I use it on any mosquito bite for the full 6 seconds, & yes, it does sting a little bit, but this device will never burn your skin. To me, it's small price to pay; a little temporary, transient pain to solve what would be hours of intense itching. I don't even care HOW it works, just that it works. I must say, I was shocked at just how effective the application of heat is at stopping the histamine overreaction my body has to mosquito bites. I only wish I had known this was an option years earlier. I've been using the same device since October of 2023, I just replace the batteries when needed, but I can assure you, if my device ever stops working, I will immediately purchase another one. I will NOT be without the Beurer BR60 Insect Bite Relief Pen!

Solid product I think. At first, it seemed like it worked beautifully each time. The itching relief was immediate and also lasting. I've applied it tons this summer since I am a natural mosquito magnet. But recently, I've felt that it doesn't give me lasting relief anymore. Some bites that linger longer will still itch. I've also naturally just stopped being bothered by mosquito bites as I've gotten older. However, I'm the only one in the family willing to go through the initial heat sting so it doesn't get much use outside of myself.

This device has changed my life!!! I’ve always attracted mosquitoes and am super allergic to them. I normally get large welts right away that are unbearably itchy, but using this as soon as I get the bite both helps the itching and prevents it from getting as big as it normally would. Since I’m so reactive to bites, I do often have to use it on the same bite multiple times to relieve the itching, but it BY FAR beats anti itch creams that don’t work and being uncomfortable for hours! If the bite starts itching again later, I’ll use it again and it will stop itching in just 1-2 applications (I always use the 6 second one). It hurts a little but in a good way. Also works on other bug bites other than mosquitoes. This is how a stable for me everywhere I go! Only complaint is the battery life isn’t stellar (usually have to replace it after a few weeks of regular use) but it’s a small price to pay for how helpful it is.

All of my life I have been a mosquito magnet. They love me for some reason. My husband and I will both be outside, and I’ll literally get 20 bites, and he’ll get none. Then I itch so badly that I’ll scratch myself bloody, and my sleep will be disrupted. I’ve tried every lotion and repellant known to man. The repellants help, but this thing saves me when I forget to use repellant or end up with a bite anyway. Yesterday I went outside to feed the chickens and ducks, and I got 15 bites on my arms and legs. We were going out that night, so I showered and then sat down to treat my bites. The gadget heats up when you turn it on, and you apply it to the bite. I applied it twice to each of my bites, and the itching STOPPED. I showed my husband all of the bites on my legs yesterday. Today I showed him again, and he couldn’t believe the welts were gone. He knows that I usually end up scratching them so much while I sleep that they bleed, and when he DOES actually get bitten, he ends up with a welt too. Even he was amazed at the difference. The gadget burns a little, so I’m not sure this would be great for little kids, but for me it’s FANTASTIC. I apply it twice to each bite, and the itching is gone. I can’t believe it! It’s almost like a miracle for me. I’ve dealt with this problem all of my life. My family has always been big into camping, fishing, and hiking all over the world, I grew up on a pond, and I’ve had horses all of my life. Lots of mosquitoes! One time in Canada on a camping trip, I counted 100 bites. In Virginia we basically lived on a swamp and spent many lovely hours hiking in the Shenandoah mountains. I now live on a small farm near a pond, and unless I spray repellant (which I hate,) I get soooo many bites. I wish I had this years ago! I just changed the batteries that came with it today, and I bought it last year, so they’ve lasted months. I’ve used it all summer long. I hope this device will last a long time because it has made my life so much better. For me, it’s worth the very short burning sensation (again, I always use it twice on each bite) to stop the itching so that I don’t scratch the bite until bleeds and so I can sleep! Honestly, I want to thank the inventor and maker of this device. It really has made my life so much better! I plan to buy one for my niece who is a mosquito magnet like I am as a gift. It’s crazy how much I use this thing and how grateful I am for it! Thank you!

I've been using mine for three years now, and it still works great! I just ordered another for my sister, who also has strong reactions to mosquito bites. The batteries last a very long time. I think in three years I have changed them twice, so I probably get about a year out of each set. Certainly no less than half a season. I always double-click the button to use the 6-second setting. It definitely hurts momentarily, but it doesn't get hot enough to cause any tissue damage. You just have to tough it out for five seconds (it takes about one second to get up to temp). For most mosquito bites, I use it once, and the itch disappears for about four hours - sometimes a little less, and sometimes the itch never returns. For very large bite sites, I use it twice in two spots next to each other. The earlier you catch it, the better. I combine this with an allergy pill (cetirizine hydrochloride, which is the generic for Zyrtec), and I'm virtually itch-free all season. I can't recommend this product enough! One note - I had one situation - some particularly bothersome bites from tiny ants in Costa Rica - that this thing didn't really work for. I think they were just on a whole other level of itch from mosquitoes. But that's the only itchy bite that this device hasn't cured for me.

If you are sensitive and reactive to bug bites you NEED this!! I have always been a bug magnet, I’ll get eaten alive and my husband won’t get a single bite. Most of my life it’s been mosquitos - I get giant welts with each bite. I recently moved to Florida and I haven’t gotten any mosquito bites yet but there’s some other kind of bug bite I’ve been getting. I’ve been getting eaten up so bad at first I thought I was having some kind of rash or bed bugs or something. Benadryl cream wasn’t helping. The bug bite thing (suction device) wasn’t helping. I learned it’s a different kind of bug out here that I never see land on me or feel bite me but the bites are even itchier than mosquitos for me and they last much longer. This device has helped sooooooo much. So much relief and it’s instant. If I use it right away it seems to basically destroy the bug bite. If I use it days later it helps interrupt the itchy flare up so it still helps give me relief. I’m generally sensitive to heat so it does feel pretty hot to me, I keep saying ow when it heats up but I think I’ll get used to it. I already notice the more I use it on a certain area the less sensitive I feel to the temperature. My husband says he doesn’t even feel the heat and laughs at me for saying ow. So it depends on your skin and heat sensitivity. It’s so worth it though even though I’m saying ow haha

An excellent product that does what it claims: instantly stops bites from itching. It does sting a bit and the degree that it will bother you varies by person: I'm fine with it but my wife won't use it. There are 2 settings and the milder setting has proven effective for all my bites. Duration of treatment is about 6 seconds. Relief comes instantly: itching stops and I forget entirely about the bite. I strongly recommend this product, but if you're very sensitive to discomfort or a temporary burning sensation, this may not be for you. In my case, temporary burning sensation easily beats days long itchiness.

I can't express the satisaction of this amazing product! how come I've never heard of it before! Love it!!!

Quality good and it's work I thought before it wouldn't work but after trying it's remove the pain

I find that this genuinely works, at least for a few hours. I find that I later have to re-apply the heat to the bite to numb the itch. Once I do, the itch definitely goes away. The product comes in very good quality packaging and is made really well. Not flimsy or easy to break. I've dropped it a couple times already and it still works well. Easy to use and if you can handle the few seconds of burn, it is worth it because that little bit of burn easily outweighs the hours and days of itch and bleed and scab that I usually get from bites.

Nice, portable design. Works like a charm. No regrets.
