MARMOT Women's Precip Waterproof Rain Jacket

Have been looking for a lightweight waterproof jacket and this one is perfect. This cut is very flattering, (not too tight) slimming, with funnel neck and still has room for sweaters to be worn underneath. I ordered a size small.

I ordered a Small, it fits perfectly for my 5’4, 135 lbs frame. I have enough room for my down jacket or vest underneath. Pre-cip is my favorite rain jacket, my previous one lasted 5 years. It’s also the only rain jacket I’ve found that has adjustable hood, adjustable cuffs, AND is adjustable on the bottom of the jacket. So not only is it 100% waterproof, but the other adjustments allow to keep the heat in, as well as unzipping the armpits to get the heat out. I used my previous jacket in torrential rain/hurricane weather, wore it during snow/ice storms, wore it traveling abroad, and wore it for all the rain back home. I wore the heck out of it, it was worth every last penny!

This jacket is perfect for rain and wind. I've worn it running in both just rain and wind and in both together and it keeps me totally dry. The ability to cinch the hood is genius, keeps it totally in place and keeps your face dry. The cooling zipper vents under the arms are awesome. I am just over 5'3" and the small fits perfect, it comes down below my waist and the sleeves come down a little past my wrists. The material is super light weight, I've worn it both in warmer weather and chillier weather and been very pleased due to the cinching at the waist, the Velcro sleeves, and the cinching hood. Totally recommend this jacket.

I shopped around for a rain jacket for a long time after my old Marmot jacket (which I had owned for about 8 years) started shedding its lining. After a lot of back and forth I decided to stick with the Marmot PreClip. It's an excellent price, wellmade, and keeps the rain off! I like the deep hood, mesh pockets, and slim profile. It's also incredibly lightweight and easy to carry with you in case of rain -- you can roll it up super small in your suitcase when travelling or even scrunch it up and carry it in your purse when running errands.

waterproof and windproof is great. the fit is a little tight at the bottom,and I'm not a big person 5'2" 115 lbs. it would be perfect if it double zipped in front

Really great waterproof jacket. Breathable and packs down super small. Took backpacking with me and it rained the whole first day - kept me totally dry.

Bought this for my girlfriend. She has never had a rain jacket before and I got her this. Claims it was the best investment ever. Keeps you cool at same time from the lightweight material and easy to move in. Even wore it and tested it in the shower and stayed dry. Unfortunately..... she won’t take it off. EVER. She lives in it and they have become one. It’s so loud when she sleeps, all I hear is slippery jacket rubbing. GOD SAVE ME.Girlfriend is average height/athletic build5 stars.

Really lightweight and compact, looks good and holds the rain out well - everything you could want in a coat!

Waterproof but not warm. I use it mostly as a 3rd layer when hiking in winter (you’d need a hot 2nd one tho).

Dopo aver letto svariati commenti contrastanti, mi sono convinta ad acquistare questa giacca. Indossata quest'estate in Val d'Aosta per un'escursione in montagna sotto una forte pioggia di 2 ore e mezzo. Ha fatto il suo dovere, arrivata al rifugio asciutta. Mi ha protetta anche dal forte vento. Solitamente indosso una XS-S e di questa ho preso una S, perfetta. Riesco ad indossarla anche con una giacca leggera sotto.

Ich wollte eine Übergangsjacke für Frühling/Sommer/Herbst, welche Wasser- sowie winddicht ist.- Wasser- und WinddichtigkeitIch konnte die Jacke bei starkem Regen und Wind testen. Sie hält was sie verspricht! Ich spürte keinen Wind und trocken bleibt man auch. Super! Sie erfüllt dahin gehend völlig ihren Zweck.- Passform & deren NutzungIch habe Größe S bestellt. Ich bin von schmaler Statur und ca. 166cm groß. Die Jacke sitzt sehr angenehm, nicht eng aber hat einen weiblichen Schnitt! Unter die Jacke passt noch eine Fleecejacke, wenn es mal kälter wird. Die Ärmelweite, die Bundweite unten sowie die Kapuze lassen sich in ihrer Größe verstellen. Die Kapuze lässt sich quasi komplett zuziehen und man kann den Kragen mittels Klettverschluss bis sogar über den Mund ziehen, sodass der Kopf komplett geschützt ist.Weiterhin ist die Jacke super leicht und lässt sich sehr klein verstauen.- MinuspunkteErstmalig wurde mir bewusst, dass bei Jacken der Reißverschluss in 85% der Fälle links angebracht ist. Bei dieser Jacke ist dies leider nicht der Fall, denn er ist rechts. Ich hatte Probleme die Jacke zu schließen und zu öffnen, es harkte und ich dachte zunächst, er wäre defekt. Aber nein, man ist es bloß nicht gewohnt, den Reißverschluss rechts zu fassen und man muss sich erst daran gewöhnen. Selbst nach 2 Wochen habe ich noch Probleme, weil es einfach Automatismus ist. Wenn ich aber daran denke, funktioniert es ganz normal.Weiterhin raschelt die Jacke schon etwas, allerdings scheint dies bei den leichten Regenjacken normal zu sein, da ich 3 unterschiedliche Modelle von 3 unterschiedlichen Marken zur Probe bestellt hatte.Ich kann diese Jacke wirklich nur weiter empfehlen!

Super leichte Jacke - der ideale Begleiter unterwegs. Hält auch starkem Regen stand. Belüftung deutlich besser als bei Vergleichsmodellen aufgrund der UnterarmZipper. Könnte hinten ein wenig länger geschnitten sein und ich vermisse eine kleine Packtasche. Der Hersteller sieht die Verstauung in der umzudrehenden Seitentasche vor .. das ist aber ein ziemliches Gemurrkse - finde ich. Dafür 1 * Abzug - sonst bestens. Schade, dass bei den Damenmodell die Farbwahl eingeschränkt ist - für die Herren gibt es ein deutlich breitere Palette.
