Do Our Pets Go to Heaven?

My pets are in heaven!
This book is fantastic! If you ever wondered if your lovely pets are in heaven or are going to be there, think no more. Why would God task Noah to build an ark that took 100 years approximately for only 8 people? No, it was the beautiful animals He was saving, too. Read it and give it to other pet owners, they’ll love you for it.

A comfort for pet lovers
My daughter lost one of her two beloved cats before Christmas. His name was Petruchio. He was part Russian Blue and she raised him from a kitten. He developed bowel inflammation problems for a few years that turned to cancer later and also developed kidney problems that became kidney failure. After a long regimen of conservative treatment,he did not improve and lost a lot of weight and became weaker and looked uncomfortable. He was 15 years old. My daughter finally made the painful decision to have him euthanized. She so loved him.It was so hard for her.We cried together on the phone for days. She had it done at home with him on her lap and her husband beside her.I will never forget what she said to me afterward." Mom,this can't be the end of him.It just can't!" So I researched and found this book. It's very comforting and scriptural. So I sent her a copy and it has been a comfort to her.I hope it does the same for others who have lost a beloved pet.

Of course our pets will be there!!
Really loved this book - love anything about animals, especially about our pets. I've lost quite a few pets in my life time and I pray that I will see them in Heaven. The fact that God wants us to be happy in Heaven, I believe, means that we will be reunited with our pets. Their love is so so special. It's hard for me to think otherwise. This book was very comforting and did add to my certainty. I really enjoyed all the different stories. Sweet!

Absolutely amazing read! There are many quotes from the Bible showing how God regards our pets. Quotes from well-known people - C. S. Lewis, Joni Eareckson Tara, and Billy Graham
There are also a number of heart-warming stories of pets and their people. Stories of animal behavior which resulted in people being saved are presented here also. We, as, humans, owe animals love and respect.

One of the best books to read when we've lost a beloved little one--plus 3 more recommendations
Excellent info, and inspiring, too. The writing, though, is a bit uneven...I'd suggest 2 'other' books: 'There Is Eternal Life for Animals', and 'Will I See Fido in Heaven?', both available from Amazon. The study of what the Hebrew words in the OT actually meant is excellent, and easy to understand. Both books reinforce the belief that we WILL see our little ones again in heaven (but--remember-- we need to be sure 'we'll' be there, 'too'!)One other I've enjoyed is Friar Jack's, 'Will I See My Dog in Heaven'? While not as much a teaching book, it is very warmly affirming what Franciscans believe---that God 'gave' us our pets, and in His Love, will allow us to be 'reunited'!

Our Pets in Heaven
I always wondered if our fur babies could possibly go to heaven when they passed. This book gave me hope. Written by Terry James who is very knowledgeable of the Word of God. Praises to him and to the Lord!Thank you!!

Great book! Especially for us pet lovers!
This book confirms how I have felt for a long time ,that there will be pets in Heaven. I always thought about God telling us he will give us the desires of our hearts, then why not let us have our beloved pets!

not bad, but too much...
This book is not bad, but half of the book is about the author sharing his personal pet stories. Thankfully the author uses a lot of scripture to support the belief that our companions do meet us again. If it is based on scriptures, it is truth. When life is based on man's conjectures, it is faulty-- at best.My husband is a veterinarian. We are true believers in the Lord Jesus Christ. We love all His awesome creation-- all creatures big and small-- and do believe that our beloved companions will indeed be with us again as we live eternity with our Savior together. We have had many different breeds of dogs, and from the big (rottweiler) to the small (chihuahua and pug), they all are sweet, loving, welcoming to all visitors, and happy companions. Scripture never says that our pets do not go to Heaven, however, scripture does elude to all of creation being redeemed with Christ once again! Amen!
