Cylinder #34762 for UFP Disc Brakes c

Bought used boat, motor and trailer (with surge brakes) and the master cylinder had given it up some time ago. Brakes wouldn't release and rotors were overheating badly. Ordered the replacement you're looking at and--viola!--end of problem! Old one had a cast-iron body, this one's aluminum and just works perfectly! Was actually amazed at how cheap it was and what a difference it made. When you order, go ahead and spend the few dollars more and get the new shock absorber (#32306) as well; this will help the 'surging' problem on wavy roads, plus, you'll know you've rebuilt 100% of your braking system, assuming your wheel calipers are in good order. By the way--if BOTH calipers are overheating, it's your master cylinder. If only one is overheating, pull the caliper and check it out; chances are the MC is OK. Good luck!
