I have used corrosion x products for years, great product.

I’ve used the red, orange/yellowish, and blue can products. All work as advertised, or better!!! I treat my forearms with the red can product. NEVER ANY RUST! OR CORROSION!!! Pick-up frames with the orange and blue can product. No corrosion. And one pickup is a 2004 F-150 that has 300,000 miles and has went through 2 engines. NO CORROSION!!! I saw the beginnings of corrosion on the lower cab corners. I throughly cleaned and treated it with Corrosion-X and so far no more corrosion. That was 3 years ago. It sees almost daily use.I can’t express how happy I am with this product in all of its forms!!!!!

Product works great. However, I did have the same issue with the spray can not working after a few times. Ended up drilling a hole in the can and pouring product into a plastic container and using a chip brush to apply. Used it on some bronze fittings in a boat bilge. No corrosion after 6 months! Going to undercoat my truck next and see if it lasts longer than the fluid film I have been using.

I am sure the product is good at preventing corrosion, but the spray pattern out of the can goes on HEAVY and it takes a LONG time to dry (like over 12 hours, even then its still very greasy/tacky feeling). My experience has been that all of the Corrosion X products go on very heavy and are very oily/wet even after 24 hours of drying. I would NOT use this product for tools or equipment that you handle regularly (even infrequently). This product is better suited for long term corrosion protection of items that you are going to put in storage, or maybe metal parts that live outdoors (gate hinges, winch cables, vehicle frames etc). I might try swapping the spray can tip with one that sprays a finer mist, but overall disappointed. Mavecoat is MUCH nicer to use, but hard to find these days.

This formulation of corrosion x is a bit heavier than the original in the red can. If exposed to elements, this formulation hangs in there longer than original. if you need something more extreme or thicker, use the heavy duty that comes in a blue green colored can. Always, shake the can for a few seconds before applying.

I have a full can that won't spray anything, I properly stored it, and have followed the instructions but won't spray anything only drips a few drops. I've used this product several times without issue I believe the quality has gone down recently.

Was only able to use less than half of can before propellant ran out. Very expensive and not worth it
