Zemas Madhouse Foods Best Multigrain, Gluten Free Pancake and Waffle Mix, Gluten Free, Sugar Free, 9.1 oz

I liked the idea of this as I liked the idea of a pancake mix with a completely natural sweetness. The sweetness would have all come from the sweet potato flour, as this product lists no refined sugar on the label of ingredients. While the pancake mix gave off a deliciously sweet scent, the pancake itself came nowhere near. It had a strong but unsweet taste. I noted that I had not added the 0.25 cups of pure maple syrup as directed in the instructions. In the next batch of pancakes, I added 0.25 cups of honey as a sweetener. The pancakes tasted much better after that. However, I felt that eliminated the original purpose of getting the sweet taste only from the sweet potato flour. If I have to add 0.25 cups of honey for a sweet taste, then I may as well buy a less expensive pancake mix, as a box of Zemas Sweet Potato Pancake Mix contains very little for what you pay. If you seek a "naturally sweet" pancake mix, this product is not your solution. You can buy a vegan pancake mix at half the price and just add honey. Moreover, if you, like me, enjoy sweet potatoes, then stick with baking whole sweet potatoes which are much sweeter than the pancakes you'll get out of the Zemas Sweet Potato Pancake Mix.

Have purchased the sweet potato, the cocoa teff, and the multigrain versions of Zema's. All 3 are absolutely delicious!

This stuff is so GREAT!! We buy it constantly. Makes awesome pancakes, tastes great and doesnt give you that horrible bloated feeling that wheat does.

Love these waffles! I make them almost every day. They are delicious! I have ordered about 20 boxes from Abe's Market - it is a bit cheaper there and free shipping. The product is absolutely great on taste buds and healthy too

Excellent. Easy and delicious!!

Surprisingly tasty for sugar free (and no artificial sugars either!) and gluten free. Cooked quite easily and evenly (took a little longer than wheat pancakes, which makes sense) and overall did a great job! Definitely agree with putting some maple (or sugar free) syrup in the batter before cooking it too.
