A great presales resource
The author provides an excellent, rounded view of what will enable success in this role. Packed with war stories, genuine suggetions and good advice - this is a good purchase for anyone starting out or looking to extend their expertise in presales.The writing style is friendly and easy-to-follow and amusing. A good read.

Essential reading for and SE or Solutions Architect, or anyone operating in Technical Sales
A wealth of experience & insight openly shared. I wish I had discovered this book at the beginning of my SE journey. I will definitely be referring to it over and over again as I continue to build my career and brand.

You will buy this book twice!
This book strikes a perfect balance between explaining the 'why' of what we should do, and the practical and actionable 'how'. Regardless of whether your title is actually Sales Engineer, Sales Consultant or any other permutation the Six Habits will help to either teach new skills, or hone your existing habits. I came to this after many years already working in the field but gained new approaches and improved existing techniques which took me to the next level. So why will you buy this book twice? Once in paperback because you'll want the enjoyment of settling back with a coffee and reading through, and secondly in Kindle format because you'll want to always have it with you! An easy 5 out of 5 from me.

Engaging, in-depth book by someone with great experience
What I love about this book is that it is clearly written by someone who not only knows his subject well, but is very good and putting it across in an engaging manner. I have seen many poor sales demos and a small number of good ones. This book will help you deliver good ones for sure.
