Quality USA products for great price
Great products. Better quality than I expected. Very sharp and ready to go. When I got the knife and saw what a great product it was, I ordered a number of other items from this Made in the USA store. The price really couldn’t be better.

Useful tool
Good steel, The hatchet is good, but I think it could use a hole on the end of the handle for a lanyard.

Awesome company
Great size and weight. Had an issue with the original order. Contacted Weyland direct and they resolved the issue immediately. Great customer service, great company and a really good product.

Way better then the price implies
I didn't have a lot of money on hand but I need something to help me clear brush. Not only have I cleared a lot of small branches but I've used it for small trees 5 and 6 inches thick rather then go and gas up and fire up my chain saw. I have more satisfaction cutting up small logs and branches with this then anything I've owned before. It comes quite sharp and I grab it everytime I go out to the yard to do some work. It always finds a way to be useful. The handle is a bit hard after you chop for a while but I'm thinking of wrapping some fabric around it and then it'll be perfect.I'm a fan of the brand and think I'll buy a few more things for hard use around the house. I'd absolutely take them hiking and might buy a second to take along.I hit a rock a few times and did chip it, but I wouldn't expect it not to and it'll sharpen out with a little work.I haven't written many reviews but felt this deserved it since it's so reasonably priced and great at hard use.

Quality question
I own the bushmaster knife. It’s a great multi use tool. The axe has good handle to blade balance. Good grip much like the knife. But the steel is different from the knife. Does not seem as strong. A favorable tool addition would be a hammer head tool in the back side of the axe head.

All that and more
I received this survival hatchet and was thoroughly impressed! The quality was much better than expected, I was able to attach the sheath via Mille gearto my pack and it even came with a small bungee that holds the handle from flopping around while hiking. The hatchet is a slim contour which is really nice. Now on to the blade, this thing is extremely sharp and durable. Along with that, the shape, weight and balance of the blade make it comfortable for use whether you’re chopping with your hand at the end of the handle, or doing more controlled cutting and choking up in the handle. Last but not least, I was sent a PDF file that contained a pretty thorough survival guide with lots of tips and tricks. It even included pictures to show exactly how to carve notches out of limbs to create traps, fishing tension lines and shelters. Very well put together and well worth the money!

Nice
I bought this hatchet as a gift, so I may never personally get to use it. It appears well-made, and feels sharp to the touch. I won't be able to attest to its toughness until I get a report back from the giftee, who just happens to be my son-in-law. He owns a tree-care company and lives he outdoors, so I'm hoping this will get some good use!
