Excellent, it is very rare I get ill when I take these.

I have struggled for years with UTI issues, and over the past year with 8 infections. In October it showed not as Ecoli as previously but as enterococcus. I have had 3 different types of antibiotics, 2 of which helped whilst on them but severe symptoms returned after finishing the courses. I was desperate…the infections were increasingly bad and even when not full of fevers, aches, confusion etc, i was in intense bladder and urethra pain that no painkillers touched, I searched for what helps with enterococcus, and tried all sorts. Eventually I found studies showing that monolaurin can compromise the biofilm of such bacteria, and that it also is antifungal and antiviral. I began with 3 Double Wood caps a day and built up to 6 a day. After a week I noticed a reduction in pain levels, and gaps in between. The pain continued to reduce, and the gaps increased. After a month there was no more pain, no symptoms at all. I now take 2 a day and remain symptom free. If you’ve never had on going bladder and urethra pain, at a level 10, you won’t necessarily get the blessed and unbelievable relief this product has brought. I honestly thought my life was over as I knew it, as many suffer with effects of these embedded bacteria for years. I am beyond grateful to have found this. I can’t recommend it highly enough. I love that this does not contain magnesium stearate, as so many supplements do these days. If anyone is trying this for Uti, in the early days when I started it, I found potassium citrate took the edge off the pain short term (I used Cystopurin from Amazon) and would you believe watermelon helped too…you can look up how watermelon is good for bladder issues. Not a cure, but it can help. The only thing I found to act as a cure (time will tell) is Monolaurin.

It’s only been a few days but, wowzers, this supplement is amazing! I feel so good from taking it!!! I have a history of post viral chronic fatigue and have recently been battling a few other bacterial and viral infections but monolaurin appears to be tackling them all. On top of that, my mood and energy is just wonderful ☺️ Wish I’d discovered this sooner but so grateful I have now. And the fact that it is derived from coconuts is just the icing on the cake, as I much prefer taking naturally derived supplements. Thank you so much! 🌈✨🦋❤️

I bought this supplement to fight of HSV-2 (Herpes) as i read around a lot of things online suggesting that it would help. I took a capsule daily and by the 4th day i came down with a cold. This is apparently called "monolaurin die off" which users experience when taking higher doses. It essentially kills off a lot of things in your body viruses, bacteria, yeast, and other microbes, which can have an adverse effect on your health in the short term.Its generally recommended to ease yourself into it at a much lower dose. Similar to another reviewer i am experiencing a cold and flu like symtoms. Initially i just assumed i got sick for no real reason but after researching this supplement it seems like a common side effect if you take too much too soon.I'm giving this 2 starts as perhaps it is highly effective but there should really be more warning about this supplement if offered at such a high dose.

I tried this specific monolaurin as it worked out better value money wise compared to the one I was using before.I’ve been taking this brand for about a month now, I’ve been taking double the amount I was taking before with the other brand (now taking 2 capsules twice a day, instead of two capsules once a day.. same strength) and since then I’ve come down with a really bad cold that last two weeks and I’ve had a uti that won’t budge.The old brand of Monolaurin I was using had cleared up a previous uti within days when I started taking it and I never got another one while taking it (would usually get them 3/4 times a year). I went all through winter being surrounded by people with alsorts of colds and viruses and never caught them, until switching monolaurin.It’s weird and a shame. And maybe it’s just me as other reviews are all very positive (including ones about uti’s).
