The Remote - Official GoPro Accessory

If you’re running multiple GoPros this is a real must have. Battery life has been consistently strong and I use this kayaking where it’s gotten beaten on by sun for hours at a time. Simple use and pairing is generally painless process that only takes 10-15 seconds from turning both the GoPro and remote on to connecting to each other. Have tested the range up to about 30 feet thus far without issue, perhaps without any interference it may go further. Relatively easy to switch between different cameras. Using on multiple GoPro 10s. Have not had any problems with using in mild rain or getting wet since I’ll wear it on my wrist paddling. Haven’t submerged it but really no reason to test that case. Worth the money, bought after market remotes that don’t connect or pair and just are complete wastes.

I bought this because I am in flight school and I have numerous go pros throughout and on the airplanes I fly. You can sync the remote to all of them and start and stop each camera at the same time which I found to be incredibly useful. The remote itself is pretty self explanatory and is a great add on if you are an avid go pro user, especially with go pros for live content, or hard to reach camera angles. I do believe $80 for the remote is sort of a steep price however, it has not failed me. Not to mention the battery life is pretty impeccable with this remote.

Very handy to use my GoPro Hero 13 black camera

I use this when I ski so I can easily find out if I fumbled around with my gloves and turned my GoPro Hero 13 Black on or off by accident. So far, in below freezing temps I have had no issues getting a full day charge. There have been a few times when I have had to pair it with the GoPro on the slopes but it takes 1 minute once I got the hang of it. Slightly annoying but that may be the GoPro and not the controller. My biggest gripe would be the length of the strap that comes with it. It needs to be longer to slip further up my arm because the gauntlet gets in the way. I was able to replace the strap with longer Velcro tie down that works perfectly but it was a pain searching for something that would slip through the loop and not be too long or too short. All-in-all it makes starting and stopping recording on my GoPro so much better with winter gloves on while skiing.

This remote is a fantastic tool that I use to multi-cam my GoPros. I have 2 hero 12s and a Hero Max 360 and they can all talk to the remote. I have yet to test it outside of a moving car, but I used it on my scooter with all my cameras and it did a great job. I haven't dug around in the settings too much yet, I remember the old remote could change video quality and stuff, not sure if this one can do it. It was a pricey buy, but I think it's well worth the money.

This remote has been performing very well. I’ve had it for two years. The battery life is outstanding and it does everything as advertised but overall it’s too bad that GoPro as a brand is awful and will soon be dead and gone, but that’s GoPro’s fault. Insta cameras are the new GoPro

Works percect for my Go Pro 10. To bad everything is small on the screan.Not there fault, it is my eyes. To bad i misplaced it. But would defenetely buy again. A little on the expensive side as you can get aftermarket cheaper. But then again you might get something that does not work proper

カメラ触らずともON/OFF出来るから便利です。一番の利点は充電の持ちがかなり良いです。Insta360も使用しており、そちらも似た様な性能のリモコンを使用してますが、充電も全くと言っていい程消耗が早く使えない代物です。それに比べるとかなりおすすめ出来るリモコンだと思います。

O Remote vale a pena comprar pra quem quer usar a GoPro de modo bem mais prático. Sem a necessidade do reconhecimento de voz da câmera ( que é péssimo ), a gente consegue praticamente todas as funções com ele, exceto as configurações de abertura, ISO, velocidade… Apesar do preço salgado, está me atendendo muito bem, utilizo na canoa havaiana.

Si utilizas la cámara GoPro montada en el casco, en una base, un self stick o algo parecido es muy recomendable que tengas un control remoto para encenderla, apagarla y empezar a grabar. Se empareja muy sencillo y la bateria le dura bastante. Es un artefacto indispensable para tus grabaciones y te hara la vida más sencilla.
