This table top is really cool but you have to be careful as it doesn't fit universally with all stools. I did luck out eventually and found a suitable and cheaper alternative that fits perfectly. I've updated my review as a reflection of this recent development. The seller's name on Amazon is KUTON and they currently have these collapsible stools for $9.99/each. They fit like a glove and at %20 of the retail price! Another possible quick method that may help to determine if your stool may fit is to look at the top where the holes are located to mount it to the table. If the outline around the holes is a perfect circle don't plan on finding a fit. If the outline around the holes is shaped like a pointed oval then there's a good chance it will. To complete the set for 4 people you will need 5 stools total. One stool serves as the table stand while the other 4 are for seating. In this instance you will have to carry the 5th stool separately, but as it sits with four stools mounted on you have accommodations for 3 people. This was a frustrating process at first that could've been avoided with a little cautionary warning provided by the seller, but I hope this serves that purpose for someone else. Now that I have the set completed I'm very happy to have it as it's very portable and easy to carry around. I'm also a fairly large man at 435lbs and have no issues with durability here. The stools from KUTON are very sturdy and support my weight with no issue.

I like that it attaches to my pop up stool that I would often use as a TV tray, but it’s not flat enough to really play a game of chess. The pieces would not stand right at the seams because it is slightly raised on one side more than the other. Definitely not worth $30. Practical price would be 10-15. When in use you’re losing a seat, so you end up needing to dish out another $25-30 for another pop up stool. All and all, I like pop up anything, but should have considered another style table pop up.
