Bird Feeders Suet Block Cage for Wild Birds

Well made and sturdy, they are perfect as suet block feeders for birds with claws that can grip the wire frame, like tits. Some other birds, sparrows and chaffinches, for example, cannot grip so easily. I have threaded sturdy sticks through the wire from each side at the base, to form perches, and these seem well used. Otherwise, birds try landing on nearby twigs and stretching to reach the suet. It is interesting to observe the different feeding methods. Not sure how well they work as nesting wool holders, but the wool has been pulled out in places. This may increase when the weather improves and nesting starts.

Does the job lid does not close properly.

I have so many birds coming to feed so got another. Works as it should. Good product

I already have one of these bird feeders and was very happy with it. It is very strong and easy to replenish when the suet block has finished. I bought another one to place elsewhere in our garden. Very good

Quite stiff and hard waring it's my 2nd one I bought .1st is still going strong,only now I get more of them feeding instead of squabbling over postion

Well made cage, can’t say how long it will last but should be ok easy to fill and birds can get at the cakes easily. Recommend
