I honestly give these cymbals a great review. That being said, you do get what you pay for. My band plays mostly alternative, hard rock and some metal (Black Sabbath covers) and they do the job.The ride and the bell are awesome. Seriously a nice sounding ride cymbal.The crash cymbals are ok but don't have a lot of sustain in my opinion.If you like using effects (bells, splashes, china, trash crash), this this is an amazing set. Gives you tons of options to customize your sound. The trash crash is my favorite, but unfortunately, the china sounds like hot garbage.Hope this helps! I really enjoy the whole set. I use a substitute china cymbal, however, because I can't get over how bad this one sounds.

How many cymbals do they come with?

Pretty much everything you see in the pics. 20” ride 18” crash 16”crash 14” crash 14” hi hats 14” China 10” splash 8-10” bell 14” (or 16”) trash crash 9 total. I will say that for the money and a beginning set of cymbals it was worth it. Some of the crash cymbals seem kind of “tinny” when you hit them but all around they are pretty decent. The smaller crash cymbals have about as much speed on them as a good quality splash.
