Good value
I go through hoses like every 3-4 years, no matter what I buy. It's gotten old. I think part of what happens is whether I lay the coil on the ground or hang it, it gets kinks that damage it. The hoses spending a lot of time outside doesn't help, so I decided to solve this by purchasing this reel that can live in the garage and make my life easier. Hauling around 50 or 100 feet of garden hose gets really heavy. The product arrived with adequate packaging. The instructions weren't great, but after a little careful eyeballing, you figure it out. It's not complicated and I'm not handy. The tolerances are very good and I'm pleased with how it went together. The one nit I have is that the wheels aren't riding on good bearings--they just wobble along on the axles. It rolls fine; it just doesn't have that feeling of quality in that respect. So far, the reel is holding up well and is easy to unspool and spool. You do need to make sure you have the reel oriented facing you or you'll end up pulling it around, since it has no wheel locks or brakes. I haven't had an issue.

This is a must have
This is a must have for the 200ft of hose that I have to lug around to water the trees and berry bushes on the far side of my property. The big wheels arenperfect for the bumpy terrain. The crank handle makes it a breeze to wind up the hose. I love it now that it is assembled, but putting it together was a real task for me. I had to get a 2nd set of hands to help, which I normally do not. I would totally buy this again if I needed another one.

Would be 5 stars if the tires held their air pressure
I knew I didn't want some plastic garbage garden hose reel that I'd inevitably throw away due to crumbling bits after a couple seasons of baking in the sun. Metal is what I wanted. It leaks a little bit at the hose connections but I figure any reel is going to leak at least a little bit. It was fairly easy to put together. I have a couple of those 50ft metal garden hoses on it. They're easy to reel in and it's easy to move around. My only complaint about it is that I'll probably have to replace the wheels since the ones that came with it don't hold pressure. It's not a huge deal to me since I move it only a couple of feet to mow around it.

Hose Cart
The cart was received with signs of rust and chipping paint in certain areas. We decided to go ahead and assemble the cart and put it to use. We want to see how long it lasts. I’m sure with the proper care it will be just fine.

Hose Real Cart
It took me a while to put this together but once up and working it is great. It says you need 2 adults to assemble it but I did it alone. Just took a while. It's a lot easier to unroll a 100-foot hose to my garden. The shipping was expensive.

Mechanically good, but rust spots in two days
Assembly was straightforward & easy; Also, easy to reel up my 200+ feet of hose; easy to move around with hoses. I would have given this 5 stars except that rust spots started appearing in two days, so the advertised protective powder paint coating must be very thin. MANUFACTURER: put on a better protective paint-at this rate my hose reel will be mostly rusty looking by end of summer.

Manufacturer Defects
One of the axles had sloppily drilled holes. There were burrs on both holes that prevented them from going through the brackets on the frame. I contacted the manufacturer and they said they couldn’t help me because Amazon’s order number didn’t yield anything in their computer and I should contact Amazon. I was relatively sure that Amazon wouldn’t send me a new axel and I didn’t want to go through the hassle of getting a replacement, so I elected to fix the problem myself. It was obvious that the warranty was useless, so I had nothing to lose. I ground off the burrs and redrilled the holes so the cotter pins would fit. Also, there were some dings in the paint. It' took about an hour to assemble.
