I received the product and the product was all over the package it was broken

Someone in my life gets dead skin build up terribly! This product combined with an exfoliating mitt on short hair worked wonders. It lathers like a shampoo with the grit needed to exfoliate the scalp!

This is great I ordered another right away after my first use. Hope that it’ll bring me to healthier scalp and hair in 3-6 months!

Once a week(ish), I like to do a hot oil treatment on my hair for a couple of hours. Then wash my hair really well. I use this scrub first, and then follow it with the Ethique Calming Shampoo Bar. If I use this on a non-oiling day, then the scrub works as a shampoo just on its own.The scrub smells and feels really good. And I know that it actually "bubbles up" when you add more water.To use it, I thoroughly wet my hair. And then roughly section my hair, doing my best to be the product on my scalp (sectioning really helps with this!). I then use the dips of my fingers to massage my scalp until the "grittiness" of the scrub is gone. After that, I splash more water on my head to lather it up, and I run that lather (not adding more product ) to the ends of my hair. After rinsing, I will go in with another shampoo if I did an oil treatment or conditioner.The scrub does leave the lengths of my hair feeling a bit "squeaky," but a good conditioner solves that.I have dry, sensitive skin. With the Ethique shampoo, I no longer have dandruff. But I still noticed some itchiness. This scrub seems to take care of that. :)

So far so good. Used it twice and I feel like it is helping my scalp.I wish it was bigger for the price paid.
