I change my own oil and filter every 3K miles or 3 months, whichever comes first. Yes, I know I could go longer, but I believe in playing it safe - oil is the life blood of an engine, and purchasing fresh oil and a new filter is a lot cheaper than a new engine. So far, no complaints. They're reasonably priced and are what Ford recommends.

Perfect match but the box was damaged pretty good. I wiped the inside of the filter out with a paper towel just in case and didn't find anything so I'm guessing this was during handling putting my order together.
