AMAZING!!! Definitely worth buying!!!
Phenomenal product! Works way beyond my expectations!!!I bought two of them to work as a repeaters for a very long run of cable (150m) across my building site from the public fibre connection to my mobile home here in Western Ireland so I wanted cheap and cheerful rather than wasting the costs on a fibre link as it is only temporary until my house is built. Before I split the cable to go crimping I just tried them end to end to see how they worked... to my astonishment they worked brilliantly with ZERO packet loss! I was using similar brand switches (but I won't mention the manufacturer as I don't want to defame any other product as the distance to be fair is beyond the max Ethernet length) and it had severe packet loss, but now I am able to keep my long cable length without cutting it mid section to install a switch as a repeater and work away without having to fork out hundreds of Euro on fibre optic cable that I might only use for a few months more. The device is really nice too and very tiny, has no annoying fan and literally works away without any fuss! The Ireland and UK power plug is nice and neat too unlike the horrible brick of thing with the previous product I was using. I'm laying blocks on my house that are smaller than that last power supply plug I was using :) The D-Link one is just slightly larger than an Apple iPhone charger so very handy if you want to install it in an IP66 enclosure for example where space is tight. So whatever your need for a quick and handy switch/hub this is your toy! I don't normally give such reviews but I am so amazed by the product I think it is only fair! And for such a tiny price too! As I say I thought it would be basic and just get me out of a problem... I had no idea it would be this good.

Great product
My new BT Hub 2 has fewer Ethernet ports than its predecessor so I needed a small switch so that I could just plug the existing cables in without the need for a serious network reorganisation. It works well and, the main reason for buying this particular switch, it's extremely compact. Which ironically, is a bit of pain because it is so light that with cables plugged in it won't sit down on the shelf next to the BT hub because the cables have to turn 90 degrees almost immediately into a hole in the shelf!! It still works, of course, but it just looks silly sticking up in the air :) I'll try sticking it down with a Command strip. However, I can still thoroughly recommend this product particularly if you need something that looks good - and doesn't cost much.

Speed Demon at this price?
Well, I was pleasantly surprised with this device when it arrived, as I ordered it because Sky Broadband sent new the new Sky Q Hub which only has 2 Gigabit Ethernet Ports on the back, and I have 6.It's only drawback is that it may get warm quick because of the plastic casing, but it delivers 1Gbps easily, my home network isn't the old 10/100 it used to be now, and it shows already as I have a 3Tb WD My cloud convected to it and it averages 200mbps instead of 20!Value for money if you're looking for something to get your GigE up and running and you don't want to splash out the cash for a managed switch, it does what it says on the tin 😀

Small, useful and good price gigaport splitter
I use this to split the Ethernet connection to a number of devices such as tv, PlayStation, sky box, Xbox series X and a laptop and it seems to handle all of them without any issue.Worth pointing out that it has two difffernt colours flashes to indicate if it’s output if gigaport or limit do 100mb. Seems to handle a mix of both without problem.Would benefit from hanging hooks or similar to tuck it out the way but light enough to useVelcro so i did that instead.

Great, but no keyhole fixing slots on the rear
The performance and value for money is great. It's obviously kind of cheaply built from plastic rather than metal, but it the fit and finish is done well. The only downside for me is that there was no keyhole slots on the rear for mounting to screwheads as I planned to mount it vertically to the inside of my electronics cubby in the living room where all the 'smart devices' live. I just expected the mounting slots because no switch I've bought before has ever not had them, so it's my own fault for presuming but it would still be nice if these could have been a part of the moulding. Can't really go wrong for the price as long as you know what you're expecting.
