All you do is use the dropper included, apply a few drops either directly to the damaged/dry skin, or to your palm, and then rub it in. Surprisingly, there’s no oily residue left behind, and you’re actually left feeling somewhat relaxed. It takes time to work, but if you apply this usually the night before, you will wake up feeling better and your skin would feel softer. This is another good product from Institut Esthederm – a brand from Paris. This is highly specialized luxury skin care brand with many innovative skin care formulas and the hence this price range! I have tried few products from this company and all I can say is they are expert in skin science.This cream comes in tall jar with dropper. It is basically clear liquid with high concentration of spirulina. I came across spirulina few years ago when I started using Joe Crosses’ Juicing and Smoothie recipes. He uses it in many recipes. Spirulina is 3 billion years old algae which is believed to have outstanding revitalization properties. I have tried spirulina powder in smoothies but did not know that it has skin care applications as well.With age and lots of hiking and outdoor activities in sun, my skin started feeling dull, dark and tired. I did not notice, but few of me collogues told me about this. So, I am perfect subject to try this. This liquid is not greasy and I apply few drops on face and neck. When applied to face, it feels very soft and light weight and absorbs in the skin very quickly. It does not leave any greasy felling. Ideally this should be applied under Spirulina Cream, but I do not have that product to test. Looking at product, I thought it would only last few weeks, but you only need little bit and now I think it will last longer.In terms of results, I see slightly improved radiance and vitality. Nothing significant, but that may be due to two reasons: First It is meant to be applied under Spirulina Cream which I have not done and secondly per their website it takes over two months to see optimal results. Having used it only for few weeks, I see changes in positive direction and long term results are yet to be seen.THE GOOD:Absorbs well, Non-greasyImproves radiance and vitalityPleasant mild fragranceFINAL THOUGHTS:This product seems to works well at improving radiance and vitality of skin. It does not provide any moisturization and needs to be used along with matching Spirulina Cream. At $89 for 30 ml (and consider additional $89 if you also get Institut Esthederm Intensif Spiruline Cream , it is quite expensive and I am pretty sure there should be some natural and cheaper way to achieve same great results. At the end of day, Remember, skin reacts more to food you intake, your sleep cycles and stress levels than any exterior products.

My wife was surprised at how well this serum worked for her. She used it as part of her night routine alone with no other cream after application to see how hydrating it would be. On application, it absorbed very quickly and left behind no sticky residue which was similar to the other Institute Estherderm products she has tried in the past. In the morning her skin still felt soft and moist; where usually without a cream, her skin is always tight and dry. She also felt the serum helped her tired skin look refreshed in the morning even though she had a restless night with the kids. While not sure what the long term benefits would be, she is ecstatic based on her first impressions, the hefty price seems to be worth it!One slight nag would be that she found the scent of the serum itself a little strange at first from the bottle but noted that it dissipated quickly after application (I didn't really smell anything off putting about it personally; just smelled like other "scentless" cosmetic products she normally uses)Will update if we find anything else with the product but very impressed overall.

i liked this stuff. i had used something like this before by ORIBE, but i didnt like it because it was just like putting oil back on my face after i put in the effort to wash it. i thought this would be the same but i was pleasantly surprised. i used this on my face after washing it, i used the dropper to put a couple drops on my fingers and then dabbed it on a few parts of my face then spread it around. it didnt make my face feel or look greasy like the other one did. my face felt and looked more replenished after being washed. i did enjoy using it and how it made my skin feel, where the ORIBE stuff i did not like putting on my face at all because it just made it feel greasy for hours and it had a weird oil smell. i dont notice a scent with this product.this stuff is super expensive, but it only takes a couple drops so it would last for a long time, as well the ORIBE stuff i didnt even like is twice the price of this, which i feel is much better. i can't say i noticed any benefits in improving signs of fatigue or reducing wrinkles specifically. the bottle is straight sided but i wish it were a bit bottom heavy, or wider, as i tipped this over and spilled a bunch on my counter, it sucks to watch something so expensive spill.Edit: im very physically active i find some moisturizers are fine, but when you apply them before exercise, they make sweat run down my face more. i find that this protects my freshly washed face from cold or wind but isn't heavy to make me sweat more during exercise.
