Brock is on the run again in New York Times bestselling author Tim Green’s companion book to New Kid . Perfect for fans of Mike Lupica or Dan Gutman’s Baseball Card Adventure series. With his strong left arm, Brock knows he can be a great quarterback, and with the help of his new friend, Mak, he has a plan to make the first team. But the coaches have plans of their own, especially for the kids from the wrong side of the tracks, which is exactly where Brock now lives. As Brock is trying to fit in, his father’s past is catching up to him—and one chance meeting causes everything to come crashing down. Will Brock finally be able to navigate his new life, or will his past force him back on the run? Review: Great book! - I bought this book on my kindle based on the reputation of Tim Green as an author. I am a "young" Senior Citizen and never realized the book was suggested for those who are 8 to 10 years. I thoroughly enjoyed the book and the development of the characters therein. The plot was great: It has intrigue, football, young romance, a few surprises, and a feel good ending. Everyone should read it!! Review: Amazing - My host kid loves this series.

GREAT kids book
GREAT kids book.... Heck no, it was a GREAT "anyone's book!" Tim includes just the right components to make a story worth turning each page. He gathers character names from the public which instantly bonds his readers and his works.... Keep up the good work, Tim!

Great for 8+ kids
The book is a good book. Tim Green writes a lot of great sportsbooks. My 10-year-old will love this one as much as he has loved all the other ones he has read.
