great book

Awesome book! I am learning a great deal about the android. Before the norm was you have to have instructions on the screen for the user to know. Now everything is hidden and you have to know where to click to do things. You get a more accurate knowledge reading a book rather than someone telling you. The book calls for Nexus 7 but if you have a device with 100% android, this is the book for you. The knowledge applies.

a totally useless book.

As a complete beginner I found this book impossible. First I wanted to learn how to take a photo. Nothing in this book; the neighbor kid showed me in 2 minutes. Then I wanted to PERMANENTLY delete a photo-not just slide it off the screen. Not in this book. Next I wanted to create a video of my dogs at play. I couldn't find anything in the book about that-no simple instructions. So far, a totally useless book.

Compared to other manuals, this is particularly poor. Mainly in the way it is produced, but the syntax is also difficult to follow.
