Great book, great read.

The book came in, in good condition, bought “New”. The story itself in the book is a classic, one that many people read during their high school years but doesn’t quite click with them at first. Most people that pick this book up, do so after experiencing adulthood. I mean the book itself hits so many marks with its themes of the early jazz age.However, I wanna bring the attention of this review to this version of the Book itself. the book has jagged edges Their called Deckled edges, Technically it is a gimmick but it is not a flaw from the manufacturer. They’re are different editions to this book and one should buy one of those instead of this version from this listing.

This is it. This is the one.I am not going to write a review of the book, because everyone should have their own understanding of what the book is about by now; you don't write bad reviews based on the literary work, but on the *product* you received, people. That being said, this is a fantastic edition. The famous painting on the front, those echoing, haunting last words from Nick tactfully placed on the back: "so we beat on, boats against the current..." and it meshes so well with the theme. To a literary/artistic snob like me, it is jewelry. The book itself is matte in cover all around, and the edges overtake the jagged book pages. It feels as if the image of the book itself is trying to envelope the pages, and it's something I cannot describe.Tl;Dr get this version for its aesthetics. avoid the Mass Market Paperback.
