Noisy af
I bought this fan to replace a stock fan that came with my NZXT H510i case. I didn’t need any fancy RGB lights since it was going to be placed at the top of the case and thus not really visible. Just wanted a basic fan to cool my computer.I have to say, I’m extremely disappointed with this fan. It sounds like a jet engine taking off! I played around with different speeds, and even flipped the fan over to try a different configuration (ie use as intake instead of exhaust) nothing seemed to make a difference in reducing the noise. I could literally hear it through headphones playing music.I also purchased some of NZXT’s RGB fans, and did not have the same noise issue, so I feel that either I got a lemon, or this specific model is just built differently.Ended up returning this fan and replacing it with a BeQuiet silent fan which was a dream to install and is super quiet even at high speeds.

Not the right product in the box.
Ordered the NZXT 140mm fan as described. The box and the manual were correct, but inside the NZXT box was a 120mm Cooler Master RGB fan with a 2018 date of manufacture.I’m keeping the Cooler Master fan as it is name brand, and approximately the same price. There was no visual sign of tampering with the NZXT box, so I have no idea how this happened. Buyer beware.

Alright fans
A little bit on the pricey fans. You pay a little extra for brand loyalty. Basic case fans. Never had a problem with them

Meh
It's pretty loud, always giving a slight howl, and that's with my phanteks p600s case's front panel on. You can't go above 60% rpm if you want a somewhat quiet system, but then your system get's toasty really fast.I would recommend getting Noctua NF-P14s, I have that has my exhaust and it is 10x quieter and moves lots of air in/out.

Good enough fan but picture is misleading.
Purchased this fan expecting a WHITE version as pictured to arrive, what I actually got was all BLACK.Still a decent fan and because I've mounted it in the top of my case the colour difference isn't that big of a deal but I have docked one star for the misleading photo.
