BEST BOARD WITH DUAL BIOS!

First off, whichever genius put the mobo inside a plastic bag to be shipped and tossed around needs to be fired. That dent on top of the box could have easily destroyed the mobo, I guess I'm lucky that it was a close call as it appears to work.Second, just like everyone complained, QFlash button does not work. Looked up videos, threads and followed instructions. Tried multiple USB 2.0 drivers. No bueno. Ended up just putting everything in (5600x, both RAM sticks, 3080) and was able to boot into BIOS and flash from there. Why did I buy it you ask? I was in a pinch and needed a replacement mobo and this one was on sale, so I took a gamble.This one is on me but worth mentioning - there are only 3 regular fan headers which kinda sucks.Good mobo when it was on sale, but whoever shipped it needs to figure it out. Others put freakin' loofah's in a padded cardboard box...

With the promo price, this is probably the most value for money B550 board available. Back I/O ports are the first I check in a motherboard, number of USB ports, USB version, and the audio jacks. Cheap low quality board have to cut corners, the first is always the audio SPDIF jack. I have no confident in a mobo when they have to skimp on these basic features.This board have a whopping 10 USB ports, including 5x USB 3.2 + Type-C and all 6 audio jacks. One can never have enough USB ports, Gigabyte botherboard usually have numberous of them, unlike other brands. There are 2x CPU fan connectors and 3x system fan connectors, these are enough for typical system, especially for a microATX, how many fan you want to squeeze in the small mATX case? AIO fan are better control by their own controller, for fan fetish, there's always fan controller, don't understand why some claim the included fan connectors number is a con.I flash the BIOS/UEFI to lastest f15a with no issue. Please read the onscreen text or RTFM, Gigabyte alearly stated the drive needs to be in FAT32 format. When the flash/thumb drive is in NTFS, the Q-flash can see the BIOS file but it won't be able to read the file--no flash. format the flash/thumb drive to FAT32 and you are done.Maybe the only con is the lack of heat spreader for 2nd NVMe slot. I use that slot for WD blue SN550 1TB, no temp issue. For some reason, on stock BIOS, Win 10 isntallation will have error saying the drive is in GPT and will not proceed; switching to MBR solve the issue. Maybe the culprit is the old GFX with UEFI BIOS but I was installing and booting to Win10 happily with it on X99 sabertooth before that. Didn't bother to check if f15a solve it, 4 partition in MBR is more than enough.

La compré de oferta y me dio un poco de desconfianza cuando llegó ya que la caja no venía sellada (vendida y enviada por Amazon), pero venía en su bolsa y con sus plásticos y no tenia ningún tipo de señal que me dijera que no era nueva así que simplemente la instalé y todo bien, hace mucho que no armaba una pc (literalmente como una década o más), así que no estaba seguro que problemas podría tener ya que la iba a usar con un ryzen 5 5600G (las gpus están muy caras por lo que me decidí por ese apu en lo que encuentro una a precio decente), esperaba tener que hacer uso del QFlash+ pero no fue necesario, aunque supuestamente en la página dice que tiene soporte para esa serie a partir de la versión F13 del bios pero venía con la F10 y me lo reconoció sin problemas y pude instalar Windows y todo sin ningún problema, aún así al final use la función de QFlash (la que se usa desde el bios) para actualizar a la F13 por cualquier cosa, no le he movido mucho por ahora porque como mencioné hace tiempo que no armaba una y preferí no hacerlo, solo activé el XMP de la ram ya que use módulos de 3600Mhz, hasta el momento está funcionando de forma excelente, solo las memorias ram que tienen rgb no me las reconoció el software de rgb fusion por lo que no puedo controlar las luces pero se ven muy bien con el patrón predeterminado, otro pequeño detalle a tener en cuenta es que la placa que cubre el panel trasero ya viene instalado en la tarjeta madre y en la parte de abajo tiene dos pequeñas partes donde está sujeta con unos tornillos, en mi caso mi gabinete ya viene con unos elevadores donde van los tornillos para fijar la tarjeta madre y una de esas partes esta muy cerca de donde va uno de los tornillos por lo que topa un poco con uno de esos elevadores, hizo que el ajuste de la tarjeta me de un poco de trabajo ya que tuve que forzarla un poquito para que entren bien los tornillos pero si quedó.

Es una excelente tarjeta madre, llegó antes de lo previsto y hubiera llegado más rápido de no ser por que no se realizaba el cargo con éxito, la tarjeta madre cuenta con buen disipador para VRM's excelente, es de hecho la parte que más pesa de la tarjeta. De momento estoy usando un Athlon 3000g (Aunque AMD diga que no lo soporta) en lo que se realiza el lanzamiento de los Ryzen 5000. Super recomiendo esta tarjeta, hasta ahorita no ha presentado ningún problema, venía bien embalada, y de verdad, luce más bonita en persona que en fotos, gran propuesta para ensambles buenos bonitos y baratos, sin duda.
