It is beautifully illustrated, of course, but it also uses beautiful language to tell a beautiful story.Readers will learn who Fred Rogers was, why he believed in children, and what influenced him to dedicate his life to the entertainment and education of them. The book's visual glossary is an easy, fun way to interact with Cordell's art, and the biographical snippets teach readers that Fred McFeely Rogers lived his life off-camera exactly as his character did on his beloved show.I highly recommend this book for children, parents, teachers, or anyone else.

I love, love, love Mr. Rodgers.

This book is perfect for little ones to learn more about Mister Rogers. My only gripe is that part of the printing had a shadow effect probably from an error with the machine. I returned it and bought a new one. This deserves 5 stars.
