Fluffy Chick: A touch-and-feel book from the creator of Dear Zoo

As a parent, Fluffy Chick has been a lovely addition to our baby’s bookshelf. It’s a short, sweet touch-and-feel book that instantly grabbed my child’s attention. Each page introduces a different farm animal with a texture to feel—fluffy, shiny, bumpy—which has been great for encouraging sensory exploration. The book is sturdy and well-made although arrived with damage to the book spine, but haven’t got time to send back and doesn’t affect the use, with thick pages that can stand up to tugging and chewing. The textures are securely attached and easy for little fingers to find. I also really appreciate the simple, rhyming text—it makes reading aloud enjoyable and keeps my baby engaged. What I love most is how it opens up little moments of learning and interaction. We name the animals, talk about the textures, and even mimic the sounds. It’s short enough for a quick read but interesting enough to return to over and over. Overall: A wonderful first book—durable, engaging, and fun to share. Highly recommend it for babies and toddlers who are starting to explore books and textures.

My 9‑month‑old niece absolutely loves this book. The textures keep her engaged, and the bright, simple illustrations are perfect for little ones. It’s sturdy enough to handle plenty of grabbing and chewing, and it’s quickly become one of her favourite things to explore.

We picked up Fluffy Chick: A Touch-and-Feel Book and it’s been such a sweet read with my daughter. She loves running her little hands over the different textures the soft chick is definitely her favourite part. The pictures are bright and simple, just right for babies and toddlers, and it keeps her attention all the way through. It’s also a nice sturdy board book, so it survives the enthusiastic grabbing and chewing stage! A lovely bedtime or daytime read that makes storytime fun and interactive. One of those books you don’t mind reading again and again.

Simple sweet card book with several touch and feel areas. Only a few pages but lovely and colourful and good quality. Great for the price for young ones.

Perfect easter gift for baby

Cute little book with nice touchy-feely patches for babies. Nice chunky pages that my baby loves to turn herself. Colourful illustrations are eye catching and enjoyable for little ones. Cute for easy but also nice all year round. My baby doesn’t know its Easter but she still likes the book!

Great little book to read with my Granddaughter who really loves the textures and enjoys the story.
