Cirque ColorsHolographic Nail Polish - (0.37fl. oz, 11ml, Alter Ego)

I absolutely love this polish! It is my second color from this brand. I was not very impressed with the first bottle, but I REALLY wanted this color, so I figured I would give it a second shot. I’m glad I did! The color is so dense, I put one coat on, and it offered full coverage. The glitter is true hollo, and amazing! It also lays down very nicely. I will definitely be bottoming out this bottle!

I don't know how it is that so few people know about black holographic nail polish. Granted it's hard to find, and that's why I was so stoked to buy this polish. Do you like the aesthetic of black nails but you're also a bird at heart and like things that are sparkly as heck? This polish is perfect for you. Do not buy this polish if you need to get anything done or need to drive somewhere because this polish is so sparkly and fantastic that you will definitely get distracted looking at it everywhere you go.In all seriousness though, one of the things I really enjoy about this polish is that it dries very quickly and only really needs 2 coats for complete coverage. (1 coat if you put it on a black base) 2 coats of this and a clear coat pretty much does the trick and then you don't have to sit around doing jazz hands for an hour waiting for them to dry. I solidly recommend this polish.

Ok, so keep in mind I am legally blind so I can tell you what I see and apologize for the shotty nail painting. 🤷‍♀️ Momma does her best.Now, in the jar, you can definitely see the holographic sparkle. On the nails, you can really tell. I turned on the flash so you could really get the effect, but I like it anyways. You can tell it's not just black, I can see sparkle on my nails just not the color so much. This color is Alter Ego.

I had super high hopes for this polish, but its packed with a strange gold shimmer / pearl in addition to the holo pigment. Indoors it looks like a gold black shimmer polish and even with exposed to a flashlight it’s still got tons of gold making the holo very warm toned instead of cool as one might expect. Plus the reflection of the gold makes the black base look dark brown. It’s not a bad polish, but I’m sticking to my all time favorite ILNP, their polish is so luxurious I absolutely love it.

I just want to start by saying I'm a guy, this is my first time trying nail polish, so I don't really have experience. Take that as you will.That said, I really like this polish! I don't know what's normal, but I only needed one coat, it went down easy and flattened easy, and it dried pretty darn fast! I really like how it looks, and the iridescence is top tier!I wanted to see if I would enjoy wearing nail polish, and I really feel like I picked the perfect paint to start with! Il probably be sticking with this one!
