So far so good
Changing the cams isn’t as straightforward as the directions would lead you to believe. Also I’m a little concerned about the long-term durability but so far it’s been solid.

OPEN HANDED DRUMMING?!
Yes! This revolutionized my playing, inspired me. It's solidly built, has smooth action, and is everything I was looking for. Look up Harry Miree's YouTube video on open-handed drumming and break free from tradition!

Good product
Good product, wish the description would mention that it comes with a drop clutch, would've saved me from ordering one. Other than that seems like a solid stand

I love this HH stand. Feels solid and precise. Real great for the open accents.

Low grade garbage!
I purchased this stand, I have owed DW Hi Hat Stands, and I own a Sonor 600 Series Hi Hat Stand. I received this stand via shipping by UPS. So I did not get an opportunity to touch it prior to purchase, if I had I would have never bought it. The metal tubing/pipe used is so this, it feels like a toy, and I probably could have bent it over my knee (I didn't try that). Fit and finish - It looks nice, but the quality is terrible. The engineering behind it is to be commended. But the build materials and other aspects of the product are beyond sub-par compared to much better made Hi Hat Stands by DW and Sonor (Perhaps others, but those are my own comparison experiences). I would not even keep this stand if it was given to me for free, sorry.. no thanks. Pearl has a great name, but they need to step up their hardware build quality more than a few notches.

I've played the DW for FIVE years now and it's as good as new
Yes, it works really well. But mine wore out and broke within a year. I play maybe twice a week with 2-3 hour sessions. Then, trying to get almost any Pearl replacement part proved impossible for me. I wound up buying the DW remote stand. The DW is much more heavy duty. I've played the DW for FIVE years now and it's as good as new. No comparison to the lower quality Pearl. These stands are expensive so just trying to save you the hassle when the Pearl breaks on you ( the wire frayed off near the pedal ).Good luck!
