BLACKHAWK Single Row Mag Gun Case

I carry a SOG multi-tool on my belt every day. Although the tool itself is virtually indestructible, eventually the carrying cases wear out. This is my third Blackhawk case like this, and they last better than anything else that I have found. Excellent value for the money.

I carry a Leatherman Super Tool 300 every day, and this is the ONLY pouch I have used so far that has lasted over a year. Most of the time, the strap that goes behind your belt is made of fabric, and (for me anyway) gets worn out or torn up after a few months. On this pouch, that strap is made of plastic that is very abrasion resistant, while still being relatively flexible. The best pouch I have found for EDC of a large multi-tool. The only way I could see to improve it, would be to add a small secondary pocket to it, sized to fit a small penlight like a Maglite Solitaire (LED) or similar. After a year, the Velcro still works good, as well.

This is a decent magazine case, a bit bulky if used for small or medium mags, but OK for large mags. The vertical strip you slide your belt behind is plastic, would much prefer if it was also nylon like the rest of the case. Your belt fits very tight behind the plastic strap, so I am concerned it may be easily damaged/broken if you catch it on the seat exiting your vehicle.

I used this to hold my multi-tool. Very well made.

Nothing special about this, except the price, which is too high for a run-of-the mill pouch with velcro. I may just be a newbie, but I don't understand the pricing on gun magazine pouches. I used this for a .32 automatic pistol mag, and it fit nicely.

Good product for the money.

This is a nice holster that does it's job of keeping things on your best and not moving around much or losing things. The velcro is solid and the plastic strap on the back keeps it tight to your belt. I have used this for a 3.5" folding knife before and am currently using 2 for 2 Glock 19 magazines. I've seen posts were people were worried about these wearing or getting caught during every day life. I use these for my CCW items all the time and they don't get caught on anything.I've had them for over 3 years and wearing them daily for over 1.5 years and no appreciable wear. I'd like it if they were a clip variety as then I'd not have to take off my belt most of the way to get them off if I wanted to remove them. Other than that, they do what they are designed to do.

Excellent so far - after 3 year! Some may be skeptical because the loop on back is plastic. IT actually feels like a very tough nylon and is thick. It's holding up better than my cloth or webbing alternatives. Fits my XDS 7 and 9 round magazines perfectly. The velcro is holding up well but I suspect it will be the first issue once the pouch gets to end of life.
